This is a Vietnamese / French / SE Asian restaurant with a wide variety of dishes. It is located in the Little Saigon area of... Orange County. Service was good and place settings were quality. I saw a lot of Asians amongst the customers. We orderedsimply. We got repeat visits by the waiter who refilled my associate's cola. He got the chicken curry with both bread and rice. His red sauce was tasty and hot - about high medium after a rise coming after the initial sauce tasting. I had a shrimp clay potrice dish that was very much a comfort food. My rice was cooked throughout the clay pot with a some crispy browning from hittingthe right temperature and was browned also by the sauce. I wished that I could have tried more dishes since so many soundedtasty. We spent about $50 for 2 people including a cola, tax and tip. I want to return to eat more of their food but want morepeople so I can try other dishes. Read more

Come back here after few years to give it another try. Seen empty tables but it took them awhile to have us seated. And again at... the tables it took to long to have the waitress come to our table to take the order and after another long wait to see our ordersevered to the wrong table and the waiter did not gave us the foods after we and the other table told him that is our order, instead gave us He brought it back to the kitchen, we have to told our waitress and she went to the kichen and came back withone my wife's order only, we did not saying anything and trying to share the food and wanted to finish it without mention aboutthe other order, but they brought it out right after we almost finished my wife plate. The foods are good not bad, I would giveit 4 stars, but the service is need more improvement. Read more

How have I not heard of Brodard Chateau!? I've only been to the other location just for their spring rolls but since coming here... with a friend, the food here is outstanding! We both came early on a Saturday with about a 5-10 minute wait. It felt emptyinside but when we left, the restaurant got busier and packed. As for the food, we ordered three dishes but I don't rememberwhat they were. I just remember that both the pictures with the shrimp and beef respectively, were our favorite dishes. Inaddition, we had their house fried rice I believe but there was nothing special about it (skip it if you plan to order it). I'llcome back for more of both dishes the next time I'm in the OC. We decided to try the famous restaurant that my circle of friends have been talking about. We came in at 6 and tried to order... their ribeye and it was already sold out. A bit disappointed, so we ordered the Chateaubriand Steaks, House special beef noodlesoup and Srafood curry. The steak were a bit chewy to my husband liking. The beef noodle soup didn't have meatballs like it wasdescribed on the menu. The service was great and what add this review higher. Read more

I am very please with the quality of food and service of Bordard staff. We miscounted our party and they able to compensate for... the move for larger tables immediately. The server took our order very smoothly and the food comes out very fast. The foodquality was excellent and the taste was perfect. Perfect is a word that I use very rare because their food is very flavorful butnone of them taste in extreme realms for your palettes (too Salty, too sour, etc...). Read more

This is a very well-known Vietnamese restaurant frequented by OC locals who know great Vietnamese food. The food is not only... made with fresh ingredients but it’s also delicious! They have a wide variety of dishes to suit your mood or appetitelevel. For a late lunch, we ordered the Grilled Pork Spring Rolls, the Salt-Pepper Calamari, Beef Salad and the “Hue” StyleVegetarian Noodle Soup. But we could have gone on and on with how delicious everything was. For other greats by the Dangfamily, check out Brodard and Bamboo Bistro. Read more

The spring rolls are really good; we tried the pork, shrimp, and soft shell crab. The soft shell crab is special in a good... way. All the plates we ordered came with some decorations and looked very beautiful. I would recommend this place for asemi-formal meeting for its good quality food and not-so-loud ambient (noisy level is acceptable). Read more
