Word of advice for anyone picking up drive- thru. check your food before you leave the plaza. When i got home i discovered a... disappointing surprise. My burrito was about half the normal size and to make things worse there was no chicken inside. I droveback to this El pollo loco and respectfully asked for my money back, I did not yell at anyone. The workers were a bunch ofkids. Per the manager, the person who prepared my order was in training. I hate giving restaurant workers a bad reviewespecially during a hectict lunch hour but in my case there was only one car ahead of me and no customers inside. The employees are friendly but the quality of the food at this location has gotten extremely bad. Probably due to inflation but... still not excusable. I was given charred black chicken that was so obviously left over from the previous day. Salsa is given outin half teaspoon sized portions and the cilantro that used to be fresh and flavorful was wilted and tasted of nothing. Go tochipotle instead. Read more

What's up with this place? We order the 2 piece meal and 2 tacos, then the worker asked if we wanted chip and salsa, we said... yes. Didn't realize they charged us $5 extra for that. Fine. But guess what, after we drove away, there was NO chips, no salsa,no sauce, no napkins, no utensils. Our fault for not checking but if you wanna steal from customers then it's really not okay. I don't go to many El Pollo Locos and this is the closest one to me. My most recent visit just solidified I don't really ever... want to come back. Every single time I come they forget a large part of my order or mess up on very simple customizations nomatter if it's slow or busy. The customer service here is just as bad. The people are usually pretty cold or rude, at least theones I've interacted with and it just makes the whole experience a pain. All in all I always try this place again every couplemonths but I don't think I care to come back at all anymore. Read more
