THE BEST! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I came to this Gingo Katsu at 9562 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92844 to test their... signature "Fish (Cod) Katsu". Price $18 The menu was very striate forward and easy to follow. The place was very clean. Thestaff were very polite and helpful. Within 15-20 min my order was served, very fresh and hot in a beautiful nice box (seepictures). The fish was made both soft and crunchy. It tasted really good. The rice, sauce the salad tasted very good. Theamount of salt/sodium in the food was just enough compared to American restaurants and food culture which are totally ignoringthe amount of fat and sodium they add in their food and serve it to you which put you life and health on high risk! I also hada short conversation with the chef as I was very amazed over the quality, the taste of the food, the the excellentservice! Total score: THE BEST! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Really good katsu! Super generous portions, and best of all, the owner was super nice. She included a candy cane in my togo box... which is so cute. I liked the healthier purple rice instead of the usual white rice and the katsu and salad sauce were good. Iwould definitely come back the next time I'm hankering for katsu again. Read more

This place is so delicious. High quality tender Katsu that isn't too greasy or made with substandard meat. The sides like purple... rice and cabbage are fresh. Get a bento box and you can eat for two for $18. Everything has attention to detail, from thebeautiful gingko takeout box to the freshness of their vegetables and the cleanliness of the restaurant.
