The food is delicious because I keep coming back. However, one employee treats their sauce like it?s gold. I always got sauce... for free to go and then all of a sudden he decided he wanted to start charging me. Sometimes I get charged, and sometimes Idon?t. It?s very frustrating because they only except cash. There was a female employee that used to work there during the day.I haven?t seen her for a while, but I wish she would come back. Returned after two years, they now add food coloring in the sour cream(blue/teal color), and they no longer use the original red... sauce recipe they had before on the fish tacos. Very dissapointing. (They also delete recent bad reviews) Read more

Never am I coming back to this joint. A scoop of stale rice, funny tasting refried beans & taquitos drizzled in neon green fake... guacamole: $9.59. I pointed out the fake guacamole to the staff, but their English is just as bad as the food. A bag of Doritos& a six pack of Mickey's wide mouth would have been a much better choice. Read more
I can't believe no one has recently complained about their MINT GREEN topping on the taquitos. It is not guacamole. It tastes... like sour cream that looks like it has been dyed. Avocados are NOT neon green. Before this, I have only tried their fish tacoswhich I would rate 5 stars but I can't give the place 5 stars when they sell you mint green colored sauce and they don't tellyou what it really is. I have been coming to Los Cotijas Taco Shop for years now. Since high school this has been my go to spot for fish tacos. The... fish are perfectly cooked not dry or over seasoned. The cabbage is finely shredded and the hot red salsa they make complimentsthe fish and fresh ingredients very well! It's a bit of a hassel that they are cash only. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! WHO CARRIES CASH NOW A DAYS? CASH ONLY which I understand u see the dignity but when you only have... 30 mins to eat and grab lunch it's SUPER inconvenient. The food is good but I really wish they would get card service and/oratm machine inside to convince customers. I missed lunch now and all the man could do was laugh because I didn't have time towalk to the gas station to the atm, return, order and wait for my food. I wouldn't have any time to eat at all.
