We first entered thinking it was a Japanese restaurant, but discovered it was more of a Korean/Japanese fusion place. We ordered... the teriyaki chicken and fish cutlet lunch. They brought out small plates of pickled tofu and bean sprouts with rice before themeal. Then the fish came out. But the teriyaki chicken never arrived. I asked the server and she went back to check. After awhile she brought out the chicken teriyaki bento box, and asked if we would like that instead. I asked if we would have to paythe box price, which was more, and she said yes lol. I told her no, we don't want it. So she took it back. After a while shecame back with the box and said we could have it for the lunch price because it would take 20 more minutes to fix the lunch.Alright. Well, by that time, we weren't really hungry anymore, so we took it all to go. That was my lunch experience on a Fridayafternoon. Read more

Although because of Covid, and government allows indoor seating again but at minimum capacity, this place did great at... distancing people in booths. Keeping it clean. I could tell the waitress was the only one working the tables so getting ourorder taken took a bit of time, but we didn't mind. We understood. And let me tell you it was worth the wait. The food tastedgreat. I'm so used to going to sushi places where they serve us what we ordered, but when they first brought out miso soup and asalad, you have no idea how happy and excited I got. It brought me back to dinning out before covid and I enjoyed every momentin this place and will definitely be back. Read more

I see lots of negative postings who ate at Miyabi Sushi. Now I know that my husband is a not only victim from Miyabi Sushi. My... husband and his friend went to Miyabi Sushi on 9/16 for dinner. They had their most expensive course meal each person $79including Uni, Oyster, Tuna, Salmon, Lobster and all kinds of Sashimi and Sushi. After dinner, all night, my husband had to stayat the bathroom with vomiting and diarrhea. It was pretty bad. And his friend has exactly same symptoms. Next day my husbandcalled and told the owners that there was a problem in their food and asked for refund. However, their answer was no refund. They completely denied food problem and they insisted that their food was clean with full arrogant attitude. And they evenexplained to my husband the reason of his sickness might be his seafood allergy, or due to other food besides Miyabi sushi, orhis unknown physiological problem--Non sense. My husband said that the owner (Mrs. Lee) should not run business in that mannerand the restaurant will have less customers because of this food problem and the way of handling the issue. Since the owner(Mrs. Lee) refused the refund, my husband mentioned that he will call credit card company and make disputable charge claim formoney back. After my husband mentioned these words, the owner (Mr. Lee) said he felt that conversation as a threat. And Mr. Leesent the text message to my husband about 4 threats he felt during the phone conversation. "This is Mr. Lee from MiyabiRestaurant. I wanted to verify the threats you made to my wife during phone conversation: 1. Do not do business in thatfashion 2. I can reduce the quantity of your customer base 3. Shall we open cards and do something drastic (do not understandopen cards) 4. Trying not to make a big issue and want a refund We have been in restaurant business for long time. We do ourbest to provide the top quality to our customers. No restaurant will serve food that will cause problems their Read more

Bad service. Because I came here on Mother's Day, I understand that they were busy, but everything took forever. I don't know if... you're supposed to ask for water here, but they didn't bring any until an adult asked for some. (The teenagers weren't oldenough for them to want to listen to I guess.) Even two bowls of rice took 30 minutes. We ordered two of the extra large sashimiplatters which were $180 each and the only good thing out of this was the main platter (this came with some side plates). For$180, the quantity and quality were definitely not worth it. The rest of the dishes it came with like the miso soup and stewwere all bs and tasted like dish water mixed in with a bit of fruit punch and fish. We ordered a seperate 3 dish dinner box andthe pork cutlet and udon were pretty good but the teriyaki chicken was cold. The portions were small and not worth it. But Ihave to say that their fruit and edamame were pretty good. However, it's hard to mess that up. Two stars because at least alittle bit of the food tasted good but everything else was ????...
