Don't let the storefront fool you! This cash-only Mochi establishment has amazing mochi to taste! I was surprised by the mochi... and azuki bean sandwiched between a pancake! It was one of the best mochi I've had. My boyfriend liked the kinako-dusted mochi!Friendly owner, too! Must try! Read more

The older lady with the glasses over charged me for a box of mochi, Ordered 16pcs but charged me as 20pcs and no receipt, So... there is no way to confront the issue once you leave the store. Furthermore the young girl who packed the mochi doesn't even sayhi or thank you....never coming back. Read more

Delicious fresh mochi and manju. The owner is a precious soul and lovely man to chat to.

Parking available in the back. Mochi was good. Preferred the pink one without filling for pure mochi.

Customer service needs much improvement - cashier is a surly older Asian (60's) lady giving stink-eye to customers and struggles... to mutter Thank You. Doesn't even offer receipt so you hope she's punching everything in honestly. Younger girl boxing up mochiis bright & friendly though. Mochi is decent, though not as flavorful as Chikara Mochi or Mikawaya brands. Not worth the drivefor their extremely limited selection. Street parking in front of store only on busy Western Ave. $2.60 per mochi is averageprice (higher $ for the seasonal sakura mochi). Read more

It?s definitely a hole in the wall, mom and pop style traditional (or historic?) mochi store. I was told that the family... business has been around for 58years, and the current owners are the second generation. Their mochi and manju tasted very freshand flavorful. You can tell that they only make small portion of their produce each day which I appreciate. You can tell it?sall about the quality!! ???????? Read more
