Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 for the food overall once most were good but there was one miss Deep fried pork ears was the first dish... at the table and was crispy and chewy. A bit queasy but the salt does help cut through Beef tounge was so tender and almostjust melts you chew. Do note that you should eat this while it's still warm since it does get tough and chewy when it's cooleddown Pork belly and shiso pork belly were so yummy. I enjoyed the shiso one more since it does cut through the fat better andis more refreshing on the taste buds. The SO swears by the original though Special heart was seasoned well and also tender. Thepork intestines were disappointing though since the first piece was almost pure fat, the second was waaaaaay burnt, but the lastsmall piece was deliciously flavored Chicken thigh with salt and one with sauce. Both were tender and juicy but we preferredthe one with salt since the one with sauce wasn't marinated so pretty plain in the center of the chicken Ambience: 5/5 - smalland cozy shop with very enthusiastic servers that make you feel welcomed. It's a bit of an older store so something's areworn Service: 5/5 - you are greeted heartily the moment you walk through the door. While multiple servers deliver food and takeorders, everyone was attentive and friendly. Value for price: 5/5 - averages about $3.10 per skewer so it can get pricy fairlyquickly. However, the food was delicious and we were very satisfied as our craving was met fantastically Read more

Highly recommend beef skewer with garlic sauce, quail egg with bacon wrap, scallop, chicken wing, chicken cartilage, taco... wasabi. I loved their tonjiru which is no longer on the menu ???? hope they?ll bring it back on the menu on day. Also lovedtheir yuzu sauce- you can buy a jar for $7 or $8, def worth the price! Pairs really well with beef or chicken. Easy parking atthe plaza, came here at 530pm and didn?t have to wait. Read more

One of the best food experiences I've had while visiting LA. The chefs were very nice and vocal. The waiters and waitresses... were quick with service. We ordered the Yakitori fries, but they were forgotten. The food and service was so good that thiswasn't even an issue for us. Will definitely be back again! Read more

Another great izakaya place. This place is incredibly lively and the food is fantastic. Definitely worth a trip if you can get... in. It's worth the wait. Check out all the different foods I was able to sample. They also have alot of other dishes which lookdelicious but you can only eat so much. Definitely visit this place a few tries to sample as much as you can. I highly rate thisplace A+ ! Read more

The braised pork belly is a revelation. I highly recommend ordering that. This is a great place for a small party of 2-4 people... to go. Extremely busy so go early if you can-- 15-20 min before they open. Good vibes, good atmosphere, good food. Couldn't askfor a better experience. Read more

This is one of the best places to try out yakitori in west LA. One thing you would notice from this restaurant is that they have... some of the best culture and well-trained employees in a restaurant: enthusiastic, efficient, friendly and welcoming. Everyemployee would be welcoming and thanking you like you just did something amazing for the restaurant (fun little experience rightthere)! ???? Anyways, moving on to the food. For those of you that don't know what yakitori is, they are basically the liteversion of Korean BBQ on skewers (no, you don't need to cook the food yourselves, thankfully). Taste? They are all very juicyand tender! Here are the dishes I would recommend: - Chicken (skin, thighs, balls and wings) - Shrimp - Pork belly (with andwithout asparagus) - cheese sticks (This is a must appetizer) - Steak skewer (I can't remember the name but it's the priced at$5 each) - Creme brulee (if you are always up for dessert afterwards) One parting thoughts, this restaurant can get reallyexpensive. Yes, each skewer costs $2-5 per skewer but they can add up. If you are a heavy eater, remember to keep in mind of howmuch you eat or you will be shocked looking at your bill. Overall, excellent dining experience and would recommend. Read more

Famous for their yakitori this place was like a hidden gem when I discovered it. Tucked into the corner of a small shopping... center this place is authentic Japanese cuisine. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered the prime beef steak platelunch which was excellent! The prime steak was cooked to perfection and I loved the ginger salad dressing. My favourite wasthe potato salad, very creamy! Went back again to try the prime beef plate with steak yakitori and I love it better then thesteak plate, meat was expertly cooked to perfection, tender and seasoned just right this place makes my mouth water justthinking about it ????
