Great place to get a healthy meal, I've been eating here everyday going on 2 months now and it has helped me change my life... tremendously, I've dropped 29pds in the first month of eating only delicious salads from Simply Salad and I'm sure I'll be downat least another 10-15 pds in my second month. I was over the moon excited when I saw that a new location was in Gardena. Previously I'd have to drive 20 miles to Dtla or... Santa Monica locations. But this 1 triangle of pita is not ok.???????????? Do better please....Hopefully the up coming Cerritosand Long Beach locations will meet expectations. Read more
I would never eat here again for the terrible customer service. Live bug in my salad!! Called the store to see what we can do... about this. Spoke to the manager and he was not apologetic about it AT ALL until I mentioned I would appreciate an apology towhere he responded that he is sorry he is coming off rude but things like this happen? I had already left Gardena when I openedthe salad to eat it, so did not want to go back to the store. The manager said he could not give me a refund unless I wasphysically there, even when I paid with Apple Pay! He said he was the manager and there was no one else I could contact otherthan himself. I've been wanting to try this spot for a while, I'm happy one opened right by my work and it did not disappoint. Really good... sized salad and high quality ingredients. It hit the spot! Wow! This place just opened (used to be a Starbucks location) for a month or so and got like x26 all 5 stars reviews as of July... 24, 2022! All those reviewers had only 1 to 2 lifetime reviews on Google and the most had 4 lifetime reviews and they all gaveit 5 stars. To be honest this place is overrated with all the 5 stars reviews. The salads are good but not like ?the best saladplace in LA?. The size is very standard, and I think the price is a little bit on a higher end vs the portion size. However, allthe ingredients are fresh, and the special dressing are very tasty. The staffs were super friendly there and gave very goodsuggestions on their popular salads. I got the Downtown Cobb and Steak-Out salads, and they were all very delicious. They mightbe the best Salad place in the area without any competitors, but I do like The Toss Up better and they are few blocks down thestreet and right next to Rascal. -1 star for running out of homemade soup at 6pm during dinner time. The grilled steak fromSteak-Out salad was cold and only came with very little number of steaks in very small pieces. I wanted something delivered for dinner and was tired of my usual go-tos. I decided to give this place a try and I'm so glad I... did. Yes, this IS the best salad bar in LA. I could eat a salad every day and never run out of options. The Asian soy dressingis my favorite for now, but I'm determined to try ALL the dressings. Everything is fresh and so delicious. And the servings areHUGE. This isn't some "here's a piece of lettuce and a bit of dressing" place. This is a restaurant for people who wantsomething healthy and substantial.
