This is a Burger King at the Gardiner rest stop on 95 in Maine. We tyoically stop for coffee on our way to our camp In Maine. ... Their coffee is Folgers and the price is good for how much you get. If you want just plain coffee get it here. If you wantfancy, overpriced coffee get it at the Starbucks in the same rest stop. Read more
The prices were high and the food mediocre. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and it was tough and rubbery. The fryers were down... and they did not have the sauces to make the Whopper. It was definitely not worth standing in line for 10 minutes. Read more
I came in at around 4:15am with my road weary cranky son. He wanted to look at the fans in the travel center. My son is autistic... and ceiling fans and french fries being together in the same place is like Disneyland for him. So we walk up to the counter andare happily greeted by Shane then we order fries which are not available at this time as it is breakfast and I settle for hashbrowns. When the hash browns are given to us my son sees in the bag and loses it. I mean full meltdown, he doesn?t understandwhy somewhere that always has fries doesn?t have them now. Shane pops up like a superhero and says ?would you like some fries??And goes out of his way to make a single order for my boy. Now I know he?s not supposed to do that, he did it anyway. He wasalso very calming to Will (my son) he spoke directly to him as an equal and brought him back to ?normal?. This kind of person israre and wonderful, and I thank him very much. I hope BK knows how great an employee they have there. I?ll definitely bestopping there on all my trips and will recommend the stop to my friends and family. Read more
I enjoy burger king alot they have alot of good food options. There shakes are amazing. Employees are normally polite some just... may have bad days. Only issue i had hear was once or twice when I went the onion rings werent edible they were hard as a rockand once the onion rings had something spilled on them it tasted like and they just tasted bad. Also once when going threw drivethru one employee must have been having a bad night but she was a but rude to me and my bf. Read more
"Not a real Burger King" This is what a manager here told me when I tried to use a coupon on the Burger King app. Apparently... they just rent the name. Also thier equipment was down so all they where offering is chicken. First off a place named BurgerKing that can't make burgers, priceless. Second when I asked if I could get any kind of discount for these incovinences themanger said the system doesn't allow that. Slow slow slow, food was cold, waiting 15 minutes for a simple order is too long. Can't blame it on being busy considering many... other places I've been were a lot busier and I never waited more than 5 minutes. This review is for the last 3 visits. I keepgiving them a try after each bad visit but this will be my last time. Read more
Last weekend, we reached the service plaza in the late evening hours. This was the only shop opened at that time. The Guy in the... counter was very very polite.. He was even allowing us to use the microwave in the shop to heat our own food. We have not usedthe microwave that?s a different story. Another point to mention is the folger?s coffee. We have been using this coffee brandfor years. So we felt like having it at home.. only thing we missed was the regular sugar (only sugar free options wereavailable at that time). Even the person on the counter went and searched for any alternatives for us and finally he wasapologizing multiple times for not having a regular sugar..
