Reviews for Pastrami Grill Bistro in Garfield, NJ
Quality sandwich with good pricing. Decent local alternative to the Manhattan delis. Pay attention while ordering, since they... didn\'t make the right size sandwich that I ordered, same with friend. Good portion nonetheless. Read more
Amazing place serving freshly made 5 star hot pastrami, corned beef, brisket and more. Soups, potato latkes, Dr. Brown\'s... sodas. Great prices, big portions. Chef Raymond will go overboard for you. Worth the trip for sure! Read more
The tall pastrami sandwich quality is almost close to those from Katz\'s in NYC. The cornbeef was really really good! Their... potato pancakes were so good and addicting. Service was a bit slow but overall is good and we will go back to try other thingson their menu. Read more
Great NY City-Style Bistro restaurant. Clean and courteous staff. Indoor or outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. They carry... all beef hot dogs, corn beef or Pastrami sandwiches served along with sour pickles, and carry knishes -square potato. Nopork...all beef served here. All look and taste amazing. Their Pastrami sandwiches with mustard on rye bread is to die for. 7 months on site. Great location. I would come back, but prepare yourself to pay hefty price for quality food and smallerportions than found in NYC. Read more

The brisket didn\'t have much flavor but was cooked right. It had a huge inedible piece of fat; not the buttery kind of fat that... tastes good. The pastrami was good but not as good as Katz in my opinion. The \"rye\" bread had absolutely no rye flavor and noseeds were found. I should have asked for it to be toasted as it got a little soggy. Pickles were ok. I was still hungry aftereating this sandwich. I would give it more of a 3.5 but that\'s not an option. Read more
After reading some glowing reviews about this place, we wanted to give it a try. The first impression of the store is really... good, it’s nicely decorated, everything’s new and the kitchen is open, so you get to see your food getting cooked in thegrill.\n\nWhen you order pastrami sandwich, they give you a small bunch in a plate to try. Very generous of them. I actuallyliked the pastrami a lot. Smoked well, would have like it to be little more moist. But when it comes out as a sandwich, it’s adifferent story. It’s a pile of meat, stuck between two soggy breads. Wasn’t appealing at all to me. There was nothing elsein the sandwich to add to the flavor. Fries and hot dog were average too. Read more
