Absolutely delicious ???? I am from Ontario, came last week to British Columbia. We saw this restaurant right beside the highway... and thought to stop by for an early supper. To our surprise I had one of the most delicious ribs in years and also the fish andchips very crispy outside and soft inside. Perfectly cooked & served. Thank you to the chef who did an amazing job! HUH? the people who claim in their reviews that the food is good are on crack!! It?s terrible. They need a Gordon Ramsay... makeover big time this place is old, filthy and the women who work there!?can you say attitude?!? Our group went to Shady Tree from the 1990's through 2016. I loved the huge prime rib dinner, for a great price, but new menu... doesn't offer it anymore. Our 4x4 group went today and our dining experience was not impressive. Still a nice building though. Read more
Laid back ambiance. Love the indoor patio surrounded by windows, many of which open wide for fresh air dining when the weather... is right. The salmon burger, bison burger, chicken with Brie burger, and side salads were all great. Great food with locallysourced ingredients. Delicious and well priced. Great local draft beer selection as well. Read more
Don't waste your time. The servers are rude. The manager doesn't know anything about service or ESA animals. Argues with you...... "well what if someone has a dog allergy?" You're the manager... figure it out! Then I was served my drink in a filthy glass.Fruit flies EVERYWHERE. Ignored by the waitresses. Then got this pathetic excuse of a poutine for $13 plus tax. After climbing Shannon falls we were starving. We found Shady Tree pub which was pretty busy. The server took our order very... quickly and we got our drinks straight away. We had to wait a fair while for our food but it was worth it. Food was fresh, tastyand reasonably priced. I'll definitely eat there again when I'm in the area ???? Read more
The server was hospitable and the establishment is clean with a nice mountain lodge pub feel. The bison and the turkey were... absolutely delicious. The beer on tap had a bit of a weird taste and we let our server know. To our surprise the owner came outto talk with us about the issue and assured us they are actively working towards a solution.
