Our family really enjoyed eating at Ernesto's Restaurant Friday evening. Ernesto's is Tex-Mex style and is nestled in a strip... center in Garland, TX and is really a very good sized restaurant with plenty of customers. Our chimichanga dinners were verywell cooked and delicious and we're good portioned for $12.99. The sweet tea was perfect and was $2.50. Their chips and salsawere very fresh. We also had a large queso dip with our chips which was $7.50. They were very well staffed and we wanted fornothing. The staff was one of the best parts of our experience as they were very friendly and checked on us frequently. Everyonegenuinely seemed to care about our experience. We would definitely recommend trying out Ernesto's and cannot wait to returnsometime soon! Read more

I had the brisket enchiladas. The brisket was tender, moist and had an amazing smoky flavor. The rice and beans were... equally delicious. The servers were prompt and polite. It seemed to be a team effort to serve me. I think I had 5 differentservers come by during my meal. Definitely will return! Read more
This Mexican restaurant is an excellent little hidden gem in Garland! Of all the fancy places I like to go to, this place offers... great pure home cooking quality food. The chips and salsa are fantastic, their chicken enchiladas come with the best sour creamsauce, and yesterday evening I had their chicken fajitas. It was fantastic, especially in their flour tortillas. I wish I took apicture of my plate to post, but I was really hungry I just dove right in.
