The family finished seeing one of the monkies perform at the Garland playhouse and we needed to feed him after his stellar... performance. A stones throw away was Intrinsic and he likes BBQ so we walked down the street to feed everyone. Currently thatarea in Garland is under construction so parking can be an issue for many. You walk in and pass the micro brewery and go get inline to place your order. Our order consisted of moist brisket, Flatbread, chicken, and okra. The BBQ rub is so good and can betasted each and every bite. The chicken has a delicious smoke taste that is present in each bite.When you order your brisketwith fat, trust me you'll get it with fat. The okra coating is light and the Flatbread is fully packed with toppings. We got 2orders of chicharrones to go and let me tell you, those pork skins are the best especially with the seasoning on them. The finalprice was $58 plus two orders of chicartones. Intrinsic is a smokehouse that brings the ????????????????. They have the juiciest, tastiest plant based bbq I've had in the DFW... area. We were sad to see the outdoor area closed due to remodeling. We really enjoyed being able to have some cold ale brewed onlocation, fire bbq and live music. Overall, it's our go to BBQ spot and the vibes are always great. If you are looking for the best Texas BBQ in the Garland area, and probably the best in the Metroplex area this is the place,... with a great selection of crafted beer. Wow, such an amazing location with some amazing food. I stopped in with a few buddies and they had been telling me about how... good this place was. I was pleasantly shocked at how amazing everything tasted. The beer was great and the BBQ was on point.There is not much else to say. If you are in the area, and you have an opportunity to stop in and give this place a try, takethat opportunity! I do not think that you will be disappointed at all. Was referred to this place by a co-workers who had some of the brisket and it was beyond awesome so I went for myself and they... didn’t disappoint. I have been to other BBQ places who charged so much more for less food. The portions are huge to where youcan eat seconds off of whatever you get.
