I have many great memories at Duffers. I recently was back in town and decided to take friends out to Dinner. What happened to... my once favorite place? It was absolutely horrible. The food was subpar. I ordered the pizza and half of it had no cheese andno sauce. The hot roast beef sandwich only had two slices of roast beef and the service was even worse than the food! My dad recently passed away suddenly and I had to help figure out the plans. I googled places to hold a reception because I... really had no idea except places like fire halls. Duffers Mill popped up. I?ve passed this place a million times since I?velived in this area almost my whole life but never ventured down the hill. Went to their website and found a PHENOMENAL price forwhat they had to offer. Thought ok, let?s put an inquiry in. Now this was a Sunday when I inquired online. Figured I might hearback on Monday or might need to follow up Tuesday. No, what seemed like seconds later I received a call from the GM Anthony! Hewas AMAZING! Customer service is top notch! I wanted to say yes as soon as I spoke to him but had to review our choices withothers. We said yes to Duffers! Got everything set up and fast forward to the day of the reception. Our entire family and guestswere beyond pleased with the atmosphere, service, and food! Brooke was our server and she did an awesome job! Kept up oneverything and didn?t let a drink go empty! The kitchen staff did an exceptional job preparing and executing the food! The chefwas outstanding! All the food was delicious! I want more chicken piccata!
