Way too expensive for what you get and the experience, and a very long wait. We ordered the crab cake appetizer for $21- there... were 2 crab cakes the size of a 50cent piece on a small plate with a small ramekin of a sauce. Very plain looking, noaesthetics, laughably small, and barely warmed through.. loaded with crab meat though, and tasted great. Our entrees were $42 &$50 each, on oversized plain plates with extremely small portions. No bread was offered. Waitress was friendly, but she had toomany tables. I just think for the price, you should get a little more of a dining experience... some greenery on a plate to makeit look nicer and not so... beige and small... also, bread while you wait or working electronics in the family room? Definitelynot worth the price. Read more
Amazing service ate there on the 7th! Bartender waited on us . She was an excellent server and the food! Fiance had prime rib... and I had shrimp Alfredo on linguini both were amazing! We will make the trip back! Read more

Wife and I went there for the very first time, everything was fabulous. Food was delicious, our waitress was amazingly... knowledgeable on stakes, and the dishes they have at the restaurant. We are definitely going back and we'll be taking mysiblings and their spouses with us next time. Read more
I forgot how good this place is since I haven't been there since pre-covid. Shorty's is worth the drive to small town Garrett,... Indiana. They expanded dining to include a beautiful outdoor gated space to enjoy the Indiana summers. They are known fortheir steaks but don't miss the fish, pasta and daily specials. I had the red snapper last night and will be back to do thatagain. Don't forget about this place.... it's worth the drive! Read more
My wife and I love this place and have been going there for years. Phenomenal steaks and lots of great specials. Our last visit... had Katelynn as our waitress and she was very good. She was very attentive and her appearance was outstanding. Highly recommend.The new room addition really adds more space and looks nice. Read more
Shortys was great, I called a reservation in for Saturday on the previous Tuesday, very smooth. Friendly staff, great food,... clean environment, overall great experience. The turtle cheesecake was phenomenal! Read more
