The restaurant has a great burger with a great view and location, but other than that there is no wow factor.
Just do yourself a favor and go! I went here for date night and had such a loving evening. It's a quaint little restaurant... located right on the Hudson River/Garrison train station. The ambiance was cozy with light soothing music playing in thebackground. You could see the sunset which is a plus. Our waitress, Felicia, was amazing -very attentive and friendly. Westarted with the cauliflower nuggets and Falafel -delicious. For our main course, we had the spicy, curried red lentils withhaiga rice (get this!!! you will not be disappointed) and crispy fish on potato bun. It's rare to find a restaurant with both beautiful views and delicious cuisine, but Dolly's wins on both counts! Lovely views... of the marina, river, and West Point especially from the patio (reserve ahead!). Interesting and delicious food and stellarcocktails. Quirky, charming vibe. A hidden gem. Read more
Came with friends after a hike. We didn't have a reservation and totally forgot it was Father's Day, but the staff was very... friendly and accommodating. We were just going to grab a drink while waiting for our train, but the view was so great that wedecided to stay for dinner. Had the fried fish sandwich (essentially fish and chip) and it hit the spot for us hungry hikers! Read more
Lovely place with good menu but we felt crammed inside and service was slow, possibly because they appear to be understaffed. ... The server and hostess did their absolutely best so this is more from a management operation They have a lovely garden facingthe river which is not setup for dining and it?s a shame as we?re in late June. We love Dolly's. We frequently go because we can sit outside with Pork Chop, and the staff is really chill about it. About the... cocktails. The MOD, pictured in green, was wonderful. I don't know if it's usually as green as it was that time, but it wasphenomenal. I also ordered this rum and red wine cocktail that was warm and complemented the other drink well. My husband and I had an excellent dinner at Dolly's. The food was excellent. The Cauliflower nuggets and Hummus appetizers were... delicious. And the Dolly's burger deluxe and the season special they had was the Ruben, and both were amazing. Our server,Ferhat, was very attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Overall, everyone was very attentive. The place is very inviting andcozy with an amazing view. We are definitely coming back, especially when they open the patio outside. Read more
