When people eat in the restaurant, it's awkward to eat out of to go boxes. Sawing away at my avocado toast on hard, crusty... bread actually broke a tine off my plastic fork. There were parts that could not be cut with plastic cutlery. My side of grilledchicken was dry. I won't return to eat out of a cardboard box with crappo plastic utensils. Coffee was very good. Came in for lunch on a weekday. We were the only ones there. Even though we were dining in, the food was given to use in a bag... with utensils, as though it were take out. The food was tasty but would have been better if it were plated. Would definitelyorder delivery from them but wouldn't return for dine in. Read more

Great avocado toast and cookie! Very fresh ingredients and friendly workers. Very nice outdoor space to eat. Highly recommend!
We ordered the French toast and an ABLT. We opted to bring it home since it comes packed in a paper bag anyway, so my images are... pieces on a plate. The French toast is SO disappointing, particularly when it's a late breakfast and your hungry so I'm nothappy. It's literally just bread and syrup. They didn't let the egg soak into it at all. I tried cutting a few pieces to makesure it wasn't a bad one, but they were all dry like that. The ABLT was good for what it is though. But when one person has ameal they're not interested in finishing that's where the 2 stars come in. Now I need to find another meal to eat because Idon't want the rest of this order.. Read more
Very good sandwiches and salads, you order r at the counter but the place is very friendly and inviting. They have water and... soda but they do not serve alcohol. You can also buy bread to bring home, there is parking in the back that is usually easy tofind. ADDENDUM: down to 4 stars. The sandwiches are still good, the apple salad got worse, too much apple, too sweet. Theservice is slow, too. We ate outside. It took over 15 minutes to get the food out. Read more
Stopped by here on a whim and loved it. Everything we ordered was great - avocado toast, apple salad and prime rib sandwich.... Service is fast and the portion sizes are good. Will be coming back for that prime rib. Read more
I LOVE &Grain! The food is incredible - and unlike ANYTHING else in the area. The actual establishment is beautifully designed... and has such a great vibe - likely because of the super dedicated owner John and his team, who are genuinely happy and helpful.I know that the restaurant industry has been hit particularly hard the past few years and love coming to & Grain for such ahappy, yummy experience.
