Hadn't been to Cheddars in awhile but wanted to try this location. I was very happy with the food and service we received.... Ordered the Sante Fe Spinach Dip for our appetizer, which surprised me of how good it was! (Got into it so quick, no pictures)My 6 yr old loved it. I had the Sirloin and Shrimp, Cesar Salad and loaded baked potato for my meal, and that was pretty goodalso. My daughter had the Cajun Alfredo which she said she really loved as well. Of course the fact we get the croissants makesthings better, we love bread! Will add Cheddar's Gastonia to our list of restaurants. Read more
The Food was great. We were seated in a decent amount of time. Crumbs were one the able where we were seated. Food came out... quick and hot but?. The fries that I did not order came out wayyyyyy over cooked (hard and almost black)? it?s like i appreciatethe gesture but this didn?t make things better. One of the appetizers we ordered came with a certain amount of tenders and wereceived less. It was a little mishap with the bread that they brought us but I watched another family come in and got what seemto be better service. Again Great food, not the worst service but it?s definitely room for improvement. Read more
Pretty good place to eat. Nina T was a phenomenal server- even handled a guy that was questionable regarding what he was doing... with class without causing a scene. Chicken tenders were ok. Fries were pretty good. Will try something better next time. Breadwas top notch! Read more
Patrick is the best server we?ve had in a long time?at any restaurant. He?ll take good care of you. Check my photos for the... food. Everything our family has eaten here is absolutely excellent. Be prepared to wait if you come during main meal times. Theparking lot will be packed, and so will the seating. Read more
While the server was extremely pleasant.. the food was about disgusting. Cheese curds were swimming in oil. We literally poured... oil off of the plate. The grilled white fish was just as greasy. The pot pie was burnt and very old, even coagulated. The saladwasn't too bad. Even the broccoli casserole was a gooey mess Yuck.. Also the air conditioner is broken and stuck on thefreezing temperature. 40$ straight in the garbage. Read more

When you are new in town and is Friday and you refuse to cook, where do ho? Google!! You google places to eat near you and hope... for the best ????! Well today Google brought this place to my feed and it was a great option because I love it! Let?s break itdown ???????: price, super affordable! Place- very clean, staff with mask. Service - it was faster than I expected kudos forthat! Food: i ordered the triple cheddar plate and it was too much for one person (you are welcome). From the chicken to thesalsa to the dip to the chips 8 out of 5 stars!! Everything that is in my photo was less than $12!! You don?t even get that muchat a fast food! The waiter who brought my food was suuuuper nice!! The bartender (back of the restaurant is where the bar is andwhere I picked the order) I like him already! So me and the wife had heard about this place and decided to give it a try, Gastonia NC location. Have to say it was just OK for... us. The food was ok, but it's not some place that I'd would just up and say "let's go to Cheddar's!" And be excited about it. Ihad the 8oz steak (medium rare) with fried shrimp, wife had the Dijon chicken. Steak was a little tough, and the chicken waskind of like rubbery. Flavor of both were good but it's like the meat had been frozen and thawed. Wasn't a fan of the riceeither. Waitress was extremely nice and the atmosphere was good, just the food didn't do it for us.
