Pretty good. Food is always hot and delicious for the most part. Always really friendly and fast. I think a pint of plain... fried rice is a little pricey, its like 5 dollars! But other than that the dinner and lunch combos prices are comparable toother establishments. Read more

We had dinner from here for the first time tonight, and this will be our new forever Chinese dinner night spot! The food was the... best we\'ve had in a long time here in Gastonia. We fed a family of 4 for $37. Our kids, 5 and 4, cleaned their plates and hadsome of ours. Definitely great quality and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Read more
Great local spot, service is typically fast, quality is consistently good, IMO one of the best overall Chinese take outs in this... area. I prefer this spot perhaps 4/5 times I’m ordering Chinese take out.\n\nFriendly, polite customer service, clean lookingrestaurant, typical prices.\n\nWhy I’m dinging one star:\n\nTheir fried rice is great but their competitors edge them out veryslightly - however China Cafe’s food quality and taste is superior to their competitors so it can be a tough call depending onwhat’s most important to you. As of late the fried rice seems to be improving so I’ll probably be restoring that one starsoon. I think a bit more onion is needed in it? A tiny bit of something is needed but can’t put my finger on it\n\nThe shrimpsauce - although traditionally a Japanese item - is ok but different, perhaps lacking paprika here\n\nHighly recommend you giveit a try - I’ve tried stuff from all over their menu and they have a pretty solid thing going on here with flavor and qualityacross the board ????????????????
