Although the food is ok, my order is never right. Ever. 0 out of 7 times. I always have to double check and have them fix it.
The food is almost never correct when you order it, the staff is improperly trained, and the outside smells like animals live... around the area. I've been thru the drive thru twice last week, and both times, I've had to wait, and my order was still madeincorrectly. They've changed the fries; they are now hard like cardboard; the shakes are not whipped correctly, and the serviceis just poor in general. This cookout is definitely the better of the two in gastonia. Ordered two big double burger trays, one with hush puppies and... fries and the other a side of fries and two chicken quesadillas. The chicken quesadillas are very skimpy on the chicken but myfiancé loved them. Cookout has been doing the bare minimum with these new fries they got as of lately BUT this is the firstcookout I?ve been too since the change that actually seasoned their fries so I applaud them. There wasn?t too much of a waittime to order, especially with it being almost 1am on a Saturday which I appreciated. If anything I would just only ever aburger, a milkshake and some hush puppies from now on. The food quality has went down extremely in the last year. Read more
Took the family to get cookout. This is a drive thru only restaurant. There are really too many options. Some are unique... which makes a difference. However like nearly every fast food takeout, they got our order wrong, which we didn't find out untilwe got home. Otherwise the food is a bit cheap on quality and a bit sloppily made. Despite this, the food does taste good andtastes like it is made fresh. Read more
I would just like to know who thought it was a good idea to put literal BROWN lettuce on a burger? I would have gladly taken no... lettuce instead of opening up my sandwich to see this. Read more
Better service and notably easier to hear the person through the speaker than the Franklin location. Same menu, except they had... this Doritos "taco" item where they cram a bunch of nacho toppings like ground beef, jalapenos, sour cream etc into a small bagof Doritos and give you a fork to eat it. It was interesting and pretty good. I felt very "Gastonia" eating it. Read more

We ordered 9 milkshakes and there are only two of us! Lol. Needless to say we love their ice cream!!
