On Wednesday we went to eat lunch with my friends. Our Waiter David was beyond our expectations, he was very polite and... attentive. The service was incredible, before we even ask for something he already had it for us( tea refill, more bread, boxesfor leftovers). Excellent Job DAVID. Every time me and my wife visits this place it is absolutely amazing! The food is always on point! Everything from the... appetizer, soup, salad, entree and dessert was absolutely on point. I love how you go here and it does seem a bit pricey butevery dollar is worth it. Eating the soup and salad your full before you even get your entree. So pricey it may be but you get alot of food, so it's definitely worth it. 10 out 10. To be honest we are pretty let down. I called at noon to reserve a table for 13. We were told they would not do that and to just... call an hour ahead. I call an hour ahead and am told oh we have 3 large parties ahead of you it'll be 3 hours! We checked in andwaited about 40min to sit then it took over an hour after the salad came for our dinners to arrive. My chicken marsala came outwith Alfredo sauce?? on the pasta which is a new one for me and the chicken was very salty. One of our parties dinner wasaccidentally taken by a different waiter and she didn't receive her food until everyone else had finished eating; by oursuggestion the fee for her meal was removed. We just wish there was a better plan in place for large parties to reserve fartherin advance to avoid the long waiting and clear stress on the kitchen. I want to thanks the receiver staff they were able to accommodated me with a booth. Also Erika (waitress) for giving us so much... attention. Every few minutes she passed by to check on us. Our food was a little late, the manager came over and apologized forthe delayed she was so kind I wanted to thanks her for great attention. Food delicious. We love Olive Garden. Been one of my personal favorites for 20 years. This one in Gastonia has gone downhill though. Kind of... expected with it being Gastonia. Normally they are on point but the last couple visits have not been %100 as they use to be. Thepast 3 weeks been getting the Olive Garden crave if anyone knows what I mean. Called ahead for pickup a number of times but theybeen so busy it would be 2hrs before they could have food for us. I understand being busy but 2hrs for a couple meatballs andsome Chicken Alfredo? Ok, I’ll try again another night, another night and another night. Finally!, called in at 6:15 one nightand they could have it ready by 6:50. Good deal. Too bad we get home and see our meatballs have a splash of red sauce and nocheese (yes, we made sure to ask for it. The guy on the phone wasn’t even sure what we meant by red sauce. Sorry dude,marinara.) Whatever, I’ll put my own cheese on. How much does that boat of Alfredo cost though? I can’t remember,$3.50?,$5.50? Either way my cup is half full guys. Picture has been attached of both of my complaints. Good thing we are eatingat home because if we wasn’t the wife, kid and myself would be sharing a fork, knife and 1 mint. $50 purchase and how lucky weare to not have to eat with our hands. I guess when you are busy and Covid is past you then you don’t care if you upset yourcustomers anymore. If there is another shutdown I’ll be sure not to support you guys as we did in the past. Ordering off thelimited paper menu and wearing face mask while the waitress complained the whole time was understanding but it won’t be dealtwith again. We will be sure to check out a few of the new places in town and put Olive Garden on ice for a while. Writing thisactually made me feel better. I've NEVER have a bad experience with Olive Garden, except today I did! The service was absolutely HORRIBLE. Our server... Pashieara W wasn't good at all and the food wasn't either! She walked past us the entire time and seen our empty glasses neededto be filled. We even sat them at the edge of table and she constantly just looked and walked by, we had to stop her and ask herand when we did she had an attitude about it. The table next to us was complaining about her as well. She didn't check on hertables at all. She would bring your food and drinks and then you'd never see her again. So when you needed a refill, or a to gobox or anything it was almost IMPOSSIBLE to ask because she never checked on her tables. The host sat another table in hersection and she huffed and puffed about it as if taking tables isn't her job. Our lasagna fritta came out ICE cold, our soup wasbarely warm, my chicken fritta looked old and as if it had been sitting out, my wife's pasta had TWO different kinds of pasta init. You can see the two different pastas in the picture and you can see my chicken clearly looks old and absolutely cold as itwas! HORRIBLE experience! I will NEVER visit this location again.
