I'm a Chicago native moved to NC and we traveled to Gastonia (Charlotte) and I've been dying to try this place for their deep... dish it isn't SPOT on Chicago deep dish but, it was the closest thing I've found and it was delicious in it's own right. Saucewasn't too sweet I really enjoyed the pizza itself, period, while looking for the nostalgia of home. It was great. Delicious.Husband said restaurant staff were super friendly. This was.my first time at this restaurant, we were quickly greeted by a hostess and we were seated quickly!! I have been dying... to try their Pizza for the longest time and that was my tables intentions until we were told they don't serve no beer / wine atall so that changed our plans right off the top we happen to have gotten there right before their lunch specials were ending sowe just had their lunch special options. Wanted to have a nice big pizza and a pitcher of beer for the three of us anyways weended up with the half sub special two slices of pizza special and penne ala vodka with a really nice looking salad(soldseparately) the steak sub looked really good and I did get a thumbs up on that, I did sample the penne pasta and I thought thatwas really good,, and lastly the pizza I wanted to try so badly was a let down it came out not cold but barely warm, and theonly flavors that I got out of it was a bit doughy and salt in all fairness slices are hard to order the pizza' is made earlierand heated as needed. That's my opinion!! they have an extensive menu they have traditional NY style pizza, Sicilian and Chicagostyle I'd like to give them a second chance to get a fresh pie out of the oven made specifically for my table. They have thetypical Italian specialty pastas which I'd like to try but I just can't get past that no BEER issue to give them a secondchance.( I love my beer and pizza) The service was excellent and it is a nice restaurant on the inside, it's comfortable. My wife and I have been eating from there for months and the one time I have a Friday off we decided to finally eat inside. We... have been getting pizza and our son looked at the box and said he wanted to eat inside. The place was clean and neat. The staffwas absolutely friendly. If you ever need a place for good Pizza and I mean NY close pizza, this place hits the spot tenfold.Definitely gonna come back and try thier other dishes! 10/10 Read more

The dough was not really cooked in our Stromboli and so we mentioned that it was still doughy. The waitress took it back and the... cook said it was cheese. Umm yeah tell me what cheese taste like dough, and for 18.00 it should be cooked. Read more

This was my family first time at this restaurant and we will be visiting again!! Everything was hot & so very good…they also... give huge portions and it is reasonably priced!
