It had been nearly 10 yrs since I had been to Gastonia, and all I wanted to do was go eat at Schlotzsky's!!! It was even better... than I expected. First: FIVE stars for the food. It was delicious. So fresh! The bread was excellent, everything was expertly put together by the... sandwich maker. Even the chips were delicious! Second: TWO stars for cleanliness. It was pretty bad. Doors, tables, evenoutside tables, all grimy. The place needs a good cleaning! Last: THREE stars for service. It took FOREVER to get our food.The orders were backed up and no one was in a hurry behind the counter. That was frustrating. Overall, we will go back becausethe food was so good and worth the wait.
