I would give this restaurant 5 stars, but my wife ordered some pollo fundido and it basically had no chicken. Barely an ounce.... It was mostly vegetables. Really disappointing. Flavor wise it was delicious, but would have been better if it had a decentamount of chicken. Read more
My first time visiting Taxco was a pleasant surprise. Finding good Mexican food in the Gastonia area can be a challenge, but... Taxco was very good all around. This restaurant surprised me. Went there on a couple of recommendations from friends. The food was great. Not as salty as some... of the Mexican restaurants I've been to. Ordered the Super Nachos (no rice or beans). The chicken had a better flavor than the beef, in my opinion. And there wasn't... enough cheese. That being said, it was still a good dish and I'll definitely be going back again. The service was awesome andthe price was right. Read more

My son and husband enjoyed their Father's Day lunch here. The Manager was thorough and made sure our lunch was correct. He... greeted us as we walked in, then served our menus. It took us a while to get to this restaurant, but now it's a favorite! Our friends introduced us to Taxco and we loved it. Great... service, delicious food. Try the naked burrito and the enchilada stuffed with crabmeat! Love their cheese dip for the tortillachips, too. Very nice and welcoming restaurant. Read more
