In the past I have had a good experience at Ben & Florentine. Brought my dad here and I was quite dissapointed. The room was... really cold, to the point we both kept our jackets on. When I asked why it was so cold, the server said they just put the heaton. The restaurant had been open for 3 hours already, it's -4 outside and they just putting it on? The food wasn't great either.The potatoes were soggy, almosy like they had microwaved them before serving to heat them up. Everything just felt blah which isusually not the case here. This is the second time we go as a table of 4 and once again we waited for over 45 minutes for our breakfast and the restaurant... was not that busy! While we were waiting, we noticed never ending delivery guys, sometimes 2 at a time waiting at the backdoor?. And they didn?t wait long ! Clearly this restaurant prioritizes take out over the people sitting in the restaurantwaiting. The other couple did not tip the waitress because of this? we felt very bad for her since this is not her fault. We aredone done?.there?s plenty of other places to have breakfast in Aylmer. Read more

Service was great and dishes are enough to fill an empty stomach.
Manager messed up our meal and then charged us for the things she didn?t bring. I asked politely to not be charged for that... stuff because I didn?t receive it and she was snarky and came back saying ?There. You saved a whole $5?? Did I save $5 bycomplaining or did she just overcharge me and expect me to be silent. Waiter was kind but management was very rude and made meanxious to speak up about getting the wrong order. Wow, has this restaurant ever went downhill in quality! Dad and I came here for breakfast at the beginning of August before the... long weekend. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but I'm pretty sure a year went by before our order went in, and another yearpassed by the time we got our food. The food is overpriced and the entire experience was uncomfortable. I won't be returning. Read more
The menu is pretty darn massive and the food was delicious. Couldn?t ask for a better service. The staff is incredibly friendly... and the service was considerably fast. Granted we did show up there at around 1PM so the restaurant was pretty empty. I wouldrecommend this place to anyone looking for a good brunch place and something not too expensive. Read more
