Very nice dine-in experience. Very close to 5 stars, but not quite there (yet). Great: Ambiance is very nice. Newly opened and... very tastefully decorated. Fresh bread brought to start our meal was delicious. Varied and innovative meno. Lots of tartar andwild boar. Could be improved: Several wasps were by our table so we ended up changing places The antipasto and la planche didn'tcome with and bread or crackers on the side (we wish we'd saved the entrée bread!) Fries were good enough but I expected freshcut in Quebec Service was very friendly, but seemed inexperienced When ordering a soda, you don't get the whole thing. Only whatoriginally fits in the glass. Read more

We tried a bunch of restaurants that kept being closed. We arrived at le 138 very hungry and had low expectations. We where... pleasantly surprised. A very clean and unique style. Very pleasant and helpful people, and great food. We came for the poutineand it was perfect. I would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet place to relax and enjoy a genuine Canadian poutine. I had their vegetarian sandwich and a Greek style salad for lunch. The sandwichs are grilled and assembled fresh in front of... you, and it was a banger. The salad was very good too. A co-worker has had their burger and says it is to die for. Judging bythe line-ups and obvious repeat customers, they are doing something right. Check them out. Read more

Great spot! I had the rib sandwich with some coleslaw and it was perfect. Bread was nice and fresh. Chips are crunchy and a... generous portion. I topped it off with a delicious cannoli. Go ahead and treat yourself. I did takeout, but nice vibe to theplace. Read more

We were intrgued by this restaurant that at one time was l'Oncle Tom. Then a french cuisine, now Italian. We stopped and were... accomodated on their small terrace as the inside tables were occupied. The service was friendly and accommodating. We shared aplate of perfectly crisped calamari as a starter. The near half loaf of bread doused with olive oil and a hint of balsamicdiverted is from the calamari. I ordered a sea food pasta and my wife the veal marsala. Pictures are attached. Large portions, hot, and excellent taste. The veal was a bit on the sweet side but it worked. The mussels which ringed the pasta dish wereheavenly. Congratulations to the chef!!!! Read more
