Just had food here tonight with some friends. Everyone served food with a 10-20 minute difference in between. Same with the... bill; about 35 minute difference between the first and last person. Place was empty too. Food is only okay. Never going back,waste of time and overpriced. Read more
Chicken and rice soup is Garbage soup. No chicken, salty, frozen corn, peas, whole green beans, black beans with overcooked... broken mushy rice. Montreal Smoked Sandwich is utter garbage. 70% fat to meat ratio. If you complain, they blame you for notasking for lean. Who knew. No mention on the menu and waitress doesn't specify if you want lean or 70% fat. As manager saysthis is the way they do it in QC. Ontario does it better! Manager was unprofessional and refused to make the a new MontrealSmoke Meat sandwich. We left and went other where's and enjoyed our meal! Read more
Order from here twice before, ordered something different each time and was pretty decent previously. All I can say this time is... this ain't Philly cheese steak, not even close. Fiancée got a cobb salad which consisted of dead iceberg lettuce. Not great. Read more
Stopped here with family and friends. Had the smoke meat sandwich with poutine and it was a huge portion. Everyone in our... group tried it and we were very satisfied with friendly staff and food. Highly recommended. Read more
They were Incredibly packed because of the power outage HOWEVER they were absolutely amazing , everyone was working hard. Orders... were coming out fast, the food was delicious, staff was fantastic, waiter was fast, efficient and friendly. They were seatingpeople non stop. Highly recommend . Will definitely be back. We visited Nickels Deli Gatineau for breakfast I had the Philly Steak Eggs Benedict and converted the breakfast potatoes into... Poutine with Hollandaise sauce and a side of sausage. My friend had the Western Omelette with Breakfast potatoes. The food wasdelicious served hot and on time and the waitress polite, courteous and pleasant to deal with. The place was clean and theemployees keep it nicely sanitized. I would definitely recommend this location for a meal. Read more

The service was ok...I ordered eggs benny and it was absolutely disgusting! The sauce was full of lumps and tasted horrible. The... eggs were over cooked and the yolks hard. They must scoop the eggs from the water right onto the english muffin cause it wasdrenched and soggy. I asked for bacon in mine, what a huge mistake!! I ate only a few potatoes. The server was clearly shockedwhen she picked up my full plate and asked if I enjoyed my food. I replied absolutely not! She said ok and I paid in full!! Doyourself a favor and go to Frerot!!
