EXCELLENT. My toddler gave it 2 thumbs up. Everything from beginning to end was absolutely delicious. The staff was so nice... and helpful, the gentleman even picked up my little man and put him in the high chair. The chef is absolutely a sweetheart andchecks on every table. Food was so delicious! We loved the chicken and rice, it has so much flavour. Hit the spot! The Portuguese tart was yummy too.
I now regret not trying out this restaurant earlier... A hidden gem. True, authentic, simple, delicious, Portuguese cuisine.... Meats are perfectly grilled. The chicken is perfect. I was told to go to this restaurant by a local grocery store owner in Ottawa — Mario’s Food Centre. He wasn’t wrong, the... restaurant is very cozy and welcoming. The server was very friendly and helpful. They speak French, English and Portuguese.There’s three sections to this establishment. A patio section, a bar section and the restaurant. Btw, all my photos are frominside the restaurant part. I only gave it a 4/5 because all of our plates were a bit too salty for our taste. They have a fullmenu and a special fixed price menu. I went with the fixed price menu and there’s a lot of choices to order from. If you’reever in Ottawa, it’s worth crossing the bridge into Gatineau to try this place. I mentioned to my wife that we should comehere at least once more before we go back home and she suggested maybe two more times. I like this restaurant and wouldrecommend it to everyone.
