What a great find in our community. Excellent service and food. Gorgeous venue and patios.
The place is nice, the staff is very gentle, the food is not bad, but it is very expensive for what is served on the plate.
We were part of the tour bus who got drop off at the buffet restaurant across the road. We were looking for another option and... found resto bistro rumeur. Food was serve quickly (as requested). I have not had a meal like this in a very long time. It was delicious. I had the Bavette (7oz) with homemade fries and salad.... The meat had been marinated for some time, and was tender and delicious. Portion size was perfect. My partner had the seafoodpasta and he said it was really tasty. Great service - promptly greated, seated and served. Waitress was pleasant and there whenwe needed her. For dessert, we had the cheesecake and crème brulée. It was homemade and SO good. Average food. Seafood pasta good but way too saucy; Maigret de canard was decent but with a basic sauce and again too much... sauce. Greek salad was average. Service was horrendous, slower than molasse and very impersonal. Inexperienced boss-boy (Felix)and condescending waiter (Pascal) - 40 minutes for main course ??? Seriously??? This restaurant has very good food. We were there for a birthday party. The meal took longer than expected to be served but we... all received a %10 off our bills which I though was nice of them to do considering they did not have to give us anything otherthen an apology. My wife took the Penne pasta and I had the Burger info of the meals below: Pasta: « LE MAFIOSO » $18 Pennein basil pesto, roasted red peppers, Kalamata olives and parmesan. We had a lovely diner there! Tasty food and friendly service. My seafood pasta was perfect! We also had duck tartar, snails,... onion soup, and kid?s pizza. Everything were great and prices there very reasonable! Will be back for sure! Read more
