Ordered via Ubereats and it took over an hour and a half for them to pack my order (my delivery driver got here within 5 minutes... of picking up the order). Tried calling 5 times and no one answered. Very disappointed. Answer so store manager (I can't seemto answer directly): my order is #BC411 (or 911 I'm not sure) and I ordered today around 5pm. Sushi was good. Place is not super clean. Letting themselves go I guess cause they dont have a lot of on site visits. ... Placement of hand sanitizer is before the door. So I sanitize, then I have to touch the door? That seems wrong. Sushi wasgood. Read more
There was a long wait (20 minutes) and then I almost got the wrong order. The spicy sushi roll was good, but not good enough to... warrant the price (almost $10,-). The Ramen soup (large with chicken) was inedible. For a $20 price tag, it was way tooexpensive - also considering that there is an excellent Thai place in the food court, which offers large soups for about $10,-.I would not go back there ... overpriced and bad quality. I also noticed that the people prepping the sushi (while wearinggloves) were wiping their sweaty heads with their gloved hands and then continued to prep the sushi :( .(!) enough said. Sushi here is awesome and they were very friendly. Be sure to order ahead so as not too wait too long
Worst sushi I've had in a while (and I eat sushi frequently). I'm not sure if there's been a change in management recently but... it looks like the quality in the ingredients has gone downhill alot. A greeting would also be welcomed when we get to thecounter to pay. Read more
Food is alright, but expensive. They have food listed on their menu that they don't actually sell (ever - I was told they don't... have a frier to do some of the items), like sushi pizza, which is extremely annoying. They should either get a frier or removeit from the menu. Read more
Decent Sushi, like most Sushi Shop's, decent service. Easy to access in Phase IV of Place du Portage. Easy to get to from... Phase III of PDP, but it's a hike from Phase I and II of PDP. Very easy to spot from outside, but inside, it's a bit hiddennear the florist. Just look for some small tables and there's a back entrance from within PDP Phase IV. Read more
Unfortunately, several of the ingredients weren't very fresh. The avocado in my large roll were brown and stringy, I had to... discard them. The smoked salmon was strangely pale, almost white, and didn't taste very good. The ginger was slimy, I had todiscard it. The edamame beans had brown spots. Some things tasted like they'd gone bad. Some of the rolls were okay; the rawsalmon seemed fine, and the Miso soup was passable. All in all, it was a bit of a disappointment :( too bad cuz I usually likeSushi Shop, but perhaps this location is struggling and using stuff that's not very fresh to save money. I would recommend theyuse higher quality smoked salmon, and make sure all their ingredients are fresh. Read more
