We stumbled upon this Cafe while we were in Gatlinburg looking at the artist shops. Was not expecting much being a small place... cafe style. However, when we were given the menus I was pleasantly surprised. This reminds me more of a fine-dining Cafe due tothe interesting culinary items on the menu. I loved that it said no substitutions, that way the Integrity of the recipe isupheld. I ordered the Classic Club which was anything but classic- a Grilled cheese sandwiched between turkey, ham, swiss, lettuce, tomato and applewood bacon. My husband chose the Morning Mist chicken with grilled chicken, Granny Smith apple slices, gouda cheese and Peach jalapeno jam on artisanal bread. For an appetizer we had the deep fried deviled eggs- which the eggwhites are lightly browned and the filling is actually on top of the deep fried egg white, topped w/ a tiny sprinkle of cayenne,Sriracha salt and jalapenos. It was so good I just kept moaning and could not form words! I was actually one of those peoplewho took a picture of my food and we were laughing because I'm not that type. But it was that good I had to send it to myfriends. It was not greasy like normal deep-fried nor was it over breaded, it was actually perfect. The sandwiches were so good, neither of us spoke almost the entire meal except to say how good they were. The food was great, the chef actually came out tomake sure everything was good (I sung his praises), and we finished with caramel apple cider and peppermint hot chocolate towalk around the outside shops. The whole meal from start to end was Exquisite!! I wish they were closer because I would be goingback weekly!! Read more

Possibly the best Club sandwich I've ever had. The deep fried deviled eggs with the jalapenos are incredible. The wife said the... Chefs Salad was great. Super nice waitress. Crazy clean. Noticed how intensely the tables were cleaned. Read more

What an amazing find. We stumbled across this spot looking for a place to have lunch that was near our cabin and this gem did... not disappoint. The Cafe is part of a cluster of artisan shops so parking wasn't an issue. The customer service was excellent (Ireally hate that I'm not 100% on the servers name but she was the only one working) and the food was outstanding! We got theMorning Mist Chicken sandwich and a burger and both were exceptional. The flavor of the peach/jalepeno jam on the chickensandwich was unexpected and took the sandwich from a Yes! to a Hell Yes! But our favorite part of the meal was the deep frieddeviled eggs. You have to try them, they are delicious. The chef/owner really has the perfect size menu with options foreveryone and the surroundings just add to the charm of this cafe. Read more

Wait time was extensive-- 1 hour for salad, cup of soup, and BLT sandwich. Food was not all that great, overpriced as well. $50... lunch, where we could have eaten somewhere better with better service for the same price. The server (woman) was very rude, itwas like a 1 man show she was doing it all even though there was another worker there. She said "if you wanted fast service youshould have went to McDonald's." She was also very rude to the person who came in asking for a water for someone having amedical emergency. Would not recommend and will not be back. Do not waste your time here. Read more

Absolutely delicious! There's a bit of a wait because everything is fresh made to order but it's WORTH IT and they even give you... a heads up about the wait outside the building. It's busy becauee the food is yummy, plain and simple. Be kind - your patiencewill be rewarded! We got the club sandwich and cheeseburger with handcut fries - everything was so good I forgot to even snap apicture. I wish we weren't leaving tomorrow because we'd come back... the whole menu looked good! Also, Sherri was wonderful!!I don't think she stopped moving the entire time we were in there. Read more

This was our first time visiting the Arts & Crafts community in Gatlinburg, and we happened upon the Morning Mist Cafe during... our day of exploring. I'm so glad we did! The food and service were excellent! We were told up front it may take awhile, so wejust relaxed and talked while we waited. It was worth it! Everyone loved what they got (sandwiches & burgers). I'm planninganother trip next April and I can't wait to stop in again for lunch while I'm in town! Read more

Loved this place! Food was fresh and good. Customer service was nice and upfront with everything. Reminded me of our restaurant!... She repeated many times it will take awhile which we totally understood. Good service and quality food don't happen at the snapof the fingers. An let me tell you it was worth every minute of the wait. They where out of the fried deviled eggs but that's okgives me reason to go back! Price was good!! Read more

Nothing like eating local!! What a great experience. The people there were every friendly and the food we had was amazing!! I... definitely recommend the Morning Mist Chicken!!! My boyfriend and I definitely agreed that that was the most amazing sandwich weever tried out here. I would have never thought to put a jam or actual apples on a chicken sandwich. I promise you you won?t bedisappointed in the service ????. The fries as well with the fruit bowl was such a great combo. There should be no reason youcomplain about the wait because on the menu they do give you a heads up that it does get busy and a bit overwhelming. So I doappreciate that, even tho we didn?t wait to long for our food. The best food is made with a lot of love and great timing.Amongst other things food is an art and shouldn?t be rushed. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience eating at our firstlocal cafe ???????? Read more
