Beautiful tasting room, more upscale than most in this area. It reminded me more of the Napa tasting rooms with elegant decor... and nice outdoor set up. The farmstead next door was also very cute with farm animals. Read more

We discovered this place by accident. Our toddler was screaming that he needed to go potty, so I pulled off this exit to find... this charming winery with farm animals that you can pet and feed. They had veggie boxes to feed the animals for purchase... myson went through 4 boxes in 15 minutes. He was so happy! This was a great stop if you're driving with kids, especially afterlong drives between up north and LA. They had picnics tables, so we were able to rest a bit and eat our snacks. You can alsopurchase a bottle of one of their fine wines and enjoy it with the wonderful scenery. We're making this a routine pit stop whendriving up north going forward! Read more

This was quite the gem and the darling tasting room person was adorable. We happened upon this winery and were pleasantly... surprised that the owners are from St. Louis, our home town. We enjoyed the visit so much and will be putting it on our list ofmust visit again. Read more

Beautiful location off the beaten path. Still get cool coastal breezes even when smoking hot in Santa Ynez valley. A little bit... of highway 101 drone in the background when outside. Read more

I was lucky enough to be at Folded Hills this past weekend for opening day of their new Homestead Winery and Tasting Room. OMG... what a cool place this is!! They took the original farmers house - where they used to make pre prohibition wine btw - andcompletely renovated it while somehow still letting the history of the place shine through. Wow! This place is seriouslygorgeous. I had already been to their Montecito Tasting Room (also awesome) so I knew I loved all of the wines, but this placereally blew me away. We meant to pop in for an hour or so, and ended up staying all day! Bring a picnic lunch...you won't wantto leave. Lots of great areas to hang, inside and out, and enjoy a wine tasting...or in our case a few bottles...of their awardwinning Lilly Rosé and my favorite, August White! They also have backgammon...bocce ball...cornhole...and even yard farkle!!I'm in heaven. Whoever designed this place is a genius. Grab some bottles to go and don't forget a trucker hat! I've gottenasked like ten times already where I got it! I'll be back soon, I loved it all so much I joined the wine club! Can't wait forthe private wine club party this fall!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
