Otsego Resort's Blue Spruce was very disappointing. Beds worn and uncomfortable. Resort and room were outdated and run down. ... No room service, fresh towels or daily cleaning. We received no instructions from the front desk about amenities and there wasno information in the room stating check out or any other info. They did have a great hot shower! lol Read more

You can't find a better place to ski in Otsego County. Everything you need is all in one spot. Accommodations might be outdated... but the quiet and serene atmosphere of the property more than makes up for it - whether skiing/snowboarding in the winter orgolfing and swimming in the summer. I challenge you to find a better ski area with as varied terrain and zero lift lines.Otsego Resort can't be beat. See you this winter! Read more

Terrible pace! So slow and the ranger did nothing. They cater to mens drunkin group golf outings. Called clubhouse to ask for... ranger to come out and needed to leave a message! In conclusion; if if you?re a male in the 20?s or 30?s play golf a coupletimes a year and think you can play the tips, smoke cigars and drink insane amounts; this course is for you; and when wereturned to our room our key card does not work. We will never be back to play this course. We had a group of 12 experienced golfers. We ended our round in 4.5 hours. Had a 3... man group behind our group (playing senior tees) call the course 4 times to complain about pace of play. Meanwhile we wereplaying a scramble and were completely on pace the entire day. The ranger approached us multiple times saying we needed to pickup the pace. They mistakenly thought we were the group that tee?d off 30 min earlier than we actually tee?d off. Even afteracknowledging the mistake we were being pressure to pick up the pace. The end ranger was completely unprofessional and yelled atour group and even placed his hands on a group member that was trying to explain that we were actually on pace and the 3 mangroup were complaining were actually mistaken. I will never recommend this course to anyone. We were not in the wrong and werenot backed up by employees like we should have been. For $100 a round per person, I feel like we should not have been made tofeel rushed the entire time when we were perfectly on pace. Read more

Last played golf here in '17 and the course had slipped majorly with maintenance and conditioning. Any new reviews? I see it's... $99 on Tribute - which leads me to believe the pristine maintenence has prevailed? I'd still rather play Shanty creek any day, especially for this price. Other reviews of the property are subpar at best. Read more

My husband and I just stayed at this resort this past weekend. First of all we tried to cancel our stay for Sunday night on... Friday before we left. We were told cancellations had to be made 48 hours in advance, which it was. But then we were told it hadto be 48 hours before our first night there? I have never heard of this policy during my 35+ years of travel. We get to theresort and we were told that everything there was closed. The restaurants, shops, activities, even the front desk only stayedopen a few hours. Sunday it was closed completely. Our room was clean but very very tired. The whole place needs a completeoverhaul. Paint was chipping all over, ceilings had water damage, the outdoor entrance didn?t close securely, and our room keydidn?t work. Went back to the front desk they assured us maintenance would fix it. They could not so we had to rush back fromour lunch in town to get a new key and room before the front desk closed at 5 o?clock. The second room was really no better thanthe first one. And the key was still very temperamental to work. We were very afraid that the key would stop working alltogether and we wouldn?t be able to get back in our room and the front desk would be closed. It snowed and nothing was shoveled.I believe we were the only ones staying in our building we didn?t see any other cars parked the whole weekend. One of thereasons we took this trip was because our daughter is getting married in December and we were thinking about using it for gueststo stay the weekend. We were looking to book maybe 20 rooms. There is absolutely no way we would even consider this resort now.First because of the horrible cancellation policy. And secondly because this hotel is so completely rundown. The staff wasfriendly enough. The maintenance man was incredibly nice and did the best he could making sure our room was secure. The lady atthe check-in was very nice and apologetic. I don?t blame them for the hotels policy but rest assured we will n Read more
