I always like this place and prefer this location over Schaumburg but this last time I didn’t like their service. I think it... was only with our server, I told her so many times to serve our bread and appetizer but she ignored and was busy collectingbills from other tables. When I asked other server to at least serve us bread after 40mins of wait, she immediately got us breadbut guess what.. she got everything together- bread, appetizers and entrees… who does that, our food was cold anyway. However,I was thankful and forgiving due to holidays and Thanksgiving, i hope she become more friendly and understanding. Read more

We went here with my family just to check it out, we got two pizzas (one for take out), one dessert (ice cream brownies tasted... like magic) and four sodas and we paid $40. Our server Eric was lovely. Overall a great experience, good food, would recommend. Read more

Their food is flavorful. Service could improve. Long lags between check-ins, water wasn’t refilled even after asking.... Attentive and sincere while at the table. Prices kind of high for what it is. Hope this place survives, as many of the GenevaCommons restaurants are no longer there. We enjoyed our chicken shiitake lettuce wraps, salmon with a spicy rub over roastedvegetables-delicious and couldn’t be better. We also had some pizza, so-so. We deviated from our favorite, the Thai Crunchsalad. Overall a pleasant visit, but waters should be brought to the table immediately then ask what other drinks. Water is agiven with any meal. Keep things moving especially with kids at the table. Soup just can’t be $10 unless you’re puttinglobster in it. Sorry, but no. The salmon dinner was good but I would value it at $19 not $25. Funny that the same issueoccurred twice to me in one day, so I’m noticing a pattern that could be discussed in training for restaurants. If you’rehalf out of something, (in this case it was soup), please don’t give the customer 1/2 the old batch and then make them waitfor the new batch. If a new batch is on the way, you make the new batch and give them one consistent product or at a minimumcomp the first cup since it’s the old batch so it’s charged as a cup for a bowl since the continuity of service wasinterrupted. I didn’t mind getting one cup there and one cup to go, but just would have handled it slightly different on theother end. Read more

I came to this California Pizza Kitchen for the first time as I was provided a T-mobile offer for a free personal pizza and... wanted to try it out. The restaurant looks nice. The major downside was that I ordered my food and mentioned that I had theoffer to use which I had thought that my waiter Mauricio understood as he took down my rewards number and clarified that mypizza would be a smaller one which I was of course fine with. Shortly after putting in our order the waiter came back to thetable to ask when we would want to put in the orders for our personal pizzas and I had explained there must have been amisunderstanding as we had order our pizzas already and the toppings we chose were eligible for the argue. Rather than trying toresolve the misunderstanding, he immediately argued that we ordered larger pizzas and stating that we did not want the personaloption. When he came to our table I could see he also noticed we had eaten the bread he provided, yet did not offer a refill asI saw he did for the table he tended to right after. Napkins/utensils were not provided until after asked for post receivingfood either. I will most likely not be dining here again as I find it very rude to argue rather than a mutual apology oragreement of misunderstanding. Read more

Food and service was so good! This is a smaller location than the others we've been to, but the hostess was on it and we waited... about 5 minutes for a table on a Friday night. Felt safely distanced from others. Our server was very attentive and our disheswere really good. I got the Bahn Mi bowl and the strawberry mango refresher. Bowl was gluten free and really tasty.
