I just want to write a little something about Corner Bakery in the Geneva commons?.I just overheard the most arrogant,... disrespectful, and unprofessional conversation occur between the evident manager and two young girls (employees). These twogirls were working their butts off to get the line of customers served and clearly were multitasking very efficiently. Saidmanager walks up and snaps at the both of them in front of myself and several other customers. I want to applaud those two youngladies that were working today as they handled her disrespect with poise and continued about their jobs despite her utter lackof respect for their hard work. Double, triple, quadruple check everything you order from this place. The laziness is remarkable. You order two meals with... potatoes and get one potato. You order two croissants and you get two.....slices of cake? These guys are incompetent. Stay faraway. Read more
This place every time we order out or door dash they send the smallest blackest two day old avacados because they feel they can... get away with it. ...generally pretty good... The place is quiet, the panelled-walls and wood-accented decor is comforting, while the food is... fairly good. The menu offers tasty and healthy grilled-paninis, hot or cold sandwiches (w/o chips and pickles), soups andsalads, and various coffee-roasts, lemonades, etc. Though the order is delivered to your table, this is also a nice place torelax with some coffee or tea and flavorful bakery items. This was my first visit to any Corner Bakery. The lady seemed annoyed that I asked what the difference in sizes for the salads... were. I ordered the Ceasars salad with shrimp. The shrimp was fishy and the salad was just blah. Definitely not worth $13. I didhave their pecan raisin crisps things, those were good, but quite pricey. I won't be visiting again after this experience. Read more
