3 table filled. 4 waitstaff. Waited 15 minutes for service. Service forgot 1/2 the items. Was told, then went on to deliver... other table. Had to reminds her again that food was missing. Finally got the items. Ordered a second beer and it never came. Didnot get a itemized bill, so I asked for one. Sure enough, we were charged for the beers we never received. Food is okay, but notworth the aggravation. Read more

Unfortunately, this place gets one star. We came in on Saturday afternoon to have some tacos. They brought appetizers and never... came back. Finally she shows up And we ordered 3 steak tacos, simple as that. When tacos got to us about a half hour later theywere cold. They took them back to heat them. Took another 15 min finally came back but the guy decided to take the rice i waseating. I'm Mexican and this is the the worst I've had. Service and food. Unfortunately she should've told us there was an upcharge of $1.50 for green salsa. Needles to say last time we come here. Read more

We really wanted to like this place since we live down the street. We hoped that it got better since we tried it a year ago but... this time we actually walked out without even being half way done with our meal. We got two steak burritos, one Mexican styleand one regular. $17 each, for something that looked more like a quesadilla. It tasted more like eating a bean burrito, verylittle steak. Beans and rice are not included in this price either. We definitely will not be coming back. Read more

The main courses were very tasty. The atmosphere and drinks were terrific. The staff was speedy and very nice. However, the... portions were on the smaller side, especially for the price. The regular salsa that came with the chips tasted like wateryketchup. The specialty guacamoles were very interesting and delicious, but once again, their original guacamole was ratherbland. I went with my wife and two daughters on a Friday night. The place was half full, but we still waited 5 minutes to be seated. No... big deal. The service was very good, but the menu and pricing is what turned me off. There is nothing cheaper than $15 on themenu, and that is where the prices start. I had the chipotle shrimp tacos. There was a good amount of spice, but the flavor waslacking. My wife and daughters were not "wowed" by their food either. The worst part was the bill. Guacamole appetizer, fourdinners, one beer and 3 soft drinks. Left with a $110 bill. With prices like that for Mexican food, I expect it to be the bestMexican food around. This was not even close. Go to Jalapeno Grill in St. Charles for the best around (see my previous review). This place clearly is banking on the kitsch and charm of the 3rd Street Geneva crowd where price is no consideration. First time eating here and the food and atmosphere was excellent. My wife had the fajitas and I had a Beef Burrito and both of... us really enjoyed our meals. We ate on the patio overlooking 3rd Street and it was very nice. Read more
