Actually ended up here by default because Nobel House was closed. And that change of plan ended up being a most pleasant... surprise. Discovered this unassuming little place has some really delicious food. I mean not your run of the mill pub food butsuper flavorful specialty sandwiches (had grilled brie and pear - Wow!) Boyfriend had a burger which can only be described asmouth watering deliciousness. And their fries are seasoned and cooked to perfection, even good after they cooled off. Moral ofstory; don't judge a book by its cover its a small but mighty good Ale House!! Definitely going back to try their pork bellytacos which looked amazing too. Only problem I see here is deciding on what to order! Additional bonus is that the service wasalso good. We ate at the bar, and the bartender was super fun. While in town calling Kansas City Monarchs game against Kane County found this place with a kitchen open until midnight 7 days a... week. It is not just any kitchen this place was great with huge servings. We went back a second night. Recommend peach Srirachawings and the grilled cheese cheese burger was wow! Onion rings too! My moms chicken salad was huge with plenty of chicken. Mostplaces are light on the protien. Not here. Great bar with tons of beers and great cocktails. Read more
Came by here last weekend with some friends for a couple drinks. They were understaffed and it got busy later on but the bar... tender did a great job of checking on us regularly. Had some decent specials going on and allowed us samples to choose a goodbeer! Read more
Often have passed by this place but never had the opportunity to visit until recently for a pre-noon meal. The menu had some... very interesting items not usually found locally. I opted for the etouffee accompanied by an ale recomended by our server. I wasimpressed with the presentation. The flavor was spot on simply accompanied by toasted bread. My wife enjoyed her Cuban sandwichwith fantastic homemade potato chips. Just thinking about this review is making me hungry again. Read more

First time visit this evening and we really enjoyed it. Place is on the smaller side, about a dozen tables and a bar. All... beers are craft beer, they had no stout so I got a Pilsner and it was good. Had Wisconsin battered cheese curds for anappetizer and they were delicious. My wife and I ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and theAle House Burger. Ale houseburger comes with an egg on it. When served we cut the sandwiches in half, so we could try each of them. Both sandwiches weredelicious. The fries were soft, not crispy, but good. Nice place, friendly server, great food and reasonable prices, what?snot to like. We will be back. Read more
