My husband and I decided to try Hahn's as we bought bread at the farmer's market in Wheaton recently. The website photos were... misleading. When we arrived today the bakery was small, fairly crowded and a small staff on hand. We purchased 2 wrappedloaves of bread. What was a little off putting were the flies landing on all the uncovered pastries on the counter. So it wasdisappointing. Read more

I decided to go for an afternoon treat and went with Hahn's Bakery. My husband and I decided to try the Boston Cream cupcake and... the German Crumb cake. Wow!! The German Crumb cake is like a giant cookie on top of moist cake. It was FANTASTIC!! The Bostoncream cup cake was HUGE! Very tasty too! They offer a good selection on pastries and bread. EDITED TO ADD: someone clearly read my review because magically all hours changed to them closing at 6 rather than 6:30. Yet no... apology or response. Poor customer service once again. Will not be back. Either the hours on Google and all websites are wrongor your workers decide to close early. Website said they were open until 6:30. I showed up at 5:50 to pick up some items. Inormally pick up between $40-$50 worth of items every time I stop by since our family loves everything so much. $40-$50 may notbe a lot to some but it seems substantial to us. That said I showed up at 5:50. Everything was removed from the cases. 3-4workers were standing behind the counter. I asked if they were open. They said ?2 minutes left?. Which didn?t make sense. Thewebsite said 6:30, which would be 40 min. And if the hours changed and it was 6, I would have had 10 min. I asked if I couldstill get items. They made a face like I was bothering them. I said Nevermind and walked out. They didn?t say anything and nowhave lost a customer. The bakery is delicious. But the workers make it very clear they don?t care about anyone?s business. Theyclosed early. Or the hours aren?t correct. Either way poor customer service. Read more
