Food was good but I was not able to order my first choice. I wanted the burger special of the day but they were out of the Gouda... cheese. And this was only 12:00 so they had only been open about 2 hours. If you are going to put a special on the menu, shouldn't you make sure you have the ingredients to make it? Our server had many tables and thus was unable to check on usfrequently enough. I asked the food runner who brought us our meals for a Coke. I never received it. Read more

Good menu! Fantastic Bloody Mary! Service was good and we were seated right away. Would like to explore the menu a little more,... but the nachos were really good. Huge portions. Read more

We went to dinner here with our five and seven-year-olds and it was the perfect spot. A little noisy so nobody around us was... annoyed by a couple of bouts of tears but not so loud that we couldn?t have a conversation. All of the food was tasty -especially the poutine appetizer that we added burnt ends to - though the Brussels sprouts were a little dry. I really loved mypulled pork sandwich and that it came with two types of bbq sauce. My kids were thrilled that their favorite items were on thekids menu - burgers and Mac and cheese. Overall, great family restaurant in Geneva, but cool enough for date night! Read more

Took the wife out for birthday dinner. We were quickly seated on a Saturday early dinner rush. The food, wine, atmosphere was... fantastic. Kate our server was excellent. Food came out fast. Tacos and Carolina pulled pork was smoked and cooked toperfection. An app, 2 carafes of wine, 2 dinners and didn?t even break $100. Excellent food, wine, service. We will be back! Read more

Unfortunately my girlfriend got very sick on the oysters at this location. We contacted the restaurant, nobody called us back. ... We messaged them on FB, they read the message and didn't respond. After having many good meals at Nobel, we will no longer bedining there. Of course, eating raw oysters can be hazardous but the complete disregard for our well being after getting verysick is unacceptable. Read more

**lactose intolerance ((cheating)) review** Went here for a bite after a long day of home remodeling. I am lactose intolerant... and this place is one of my favorite spots prior to me developing intolerance. So after so much work that day I needed a treatand I wasn't going to let my intolerance stop me from getting a reward from a day of work. Taking a pill or two makes eatinglactose tolerable for me. We ordered the smoked poutine as a starter. It comes with cheese curds, fries, and smoked pulledpork. It's amazingly savory and salty. We all really loved it. I took a pill before eating this and picked out thecheese. For my meal I got my favorite Nashville hot chicken. It was amazing. The chicken breading, sauce, and bread all havedairy in the mix. I took a second pill before eating this. This Nashville hot chicken is amazing. This is early one of myfavorite sandwiches in all of the Fox River area. It tastes tangy, sweet, smokey, it has a kick, it's great. I also had oneseasonal beer. The place has been remodeled since I've been there last and I was amazed by how nice it looked. They've done agreat job. The dramatic portrait of Alfred Nobel in the front is amazing. In all the food was great and so was the decor. Theplace was packed, for good reason, and my stomach felt fine. Everyone is different when it comes to lactose intolerance so takecaution if you are. For me, I was okay with 2 lactase pills. Read more
