We had a great time at Preservation! The outdoor seating is so fun and cute. It’s covered from the sun which is great but... definitely still feel like you’re outdoors. The food was clean and tasted amazing! I took a star away because the charcuterieboards are really small portions and over priced for our liking. We loved the asparagus, Cubano, turkey sandwich, and desserts!And we would definitely go back to try other things on the menu! The drinks are fantastic as well! Overall a great experience! Read more
I used to really like this place and am hoping they just had a really off night. I was surprised the waiters / bussers were... dressed as if they were going to the beach. I only saw thin tank tops, jean shorts and cargo pants. I understand it’s a hotday but my goodness this place is really missing the mark by not enforcing a dress code or creating a dressing standard for thestaff. Anyways, we started off with the butter lettuce salad, which had a good dressing but really wasn’t anything special.Once we finished the first salad, we got our crispy duck spinach salad which was the MVP of the evening. The salad was verytasty and I loved the crispy duck/ rice and dried cherry combo. We also ordered the beef and prawn skewers which were okay. Thebeef skewered came with a sauce that was listed as mustard but tasted like a sour horseradish (not pleasant). The prawn skewershad a good chili Mayo. I used to really like coming here when it didn’t resemble some sort of shore house… Not pictured ismy “lean mule” which can only really be described as a blueberry lemonade. Read more
It was a Friday night, perfect weather for sitting outside. I made a reservation for 2 for outside. We were marched to a table... INSIDE right next to the front door. No thanks. I had to chase the hostess back to the alley and say, "I don't want to sitinside, I made the reservation for outside." Green tank top with a brunette ponytail snapped at me saying, "We don't haveavailable tables outside!!" Well, then I'm not staying here. The nice girl standing next to her said, "Oh yes, we do have atable". Great! We were seated at a table for 6 which was weird since it was so busy. Green tank top stormed over right afterthe came, then chastised us because it was only 2 of us and the reservation was for 4. NO, again, I made a reservation for TWOOUTSIDE. So she made us move then said she was going to comp my friend's asparagus, which she didn't. Our server was alsorude! Didn't refill water and was slow to get a second drink. She kept walking right past our table then standing at the bar. It was like we were bothering her. Then miraculously they could see us and were quick to try and clear our plates even thoughwe were still eating. I work hard for my money. When I go out I want to relax and have a nice time, not be annoyed or angered. The food tasted good, but was not freshly prepared. The sauce on the plate had that sitting out film over the top. Very nice establishment. I really wasn’t too hungry so I ordered the Mac and Cheese. It was very good, rich, and filling. My... girlfriend ordered the butterkase grilled cheese—she stated it was a tad bland and that a tomato slice would have made it muchmore flavorful. Read more

I'd go if I was invited but I wouldn't go here on my own accord unless I was looking to have drinks outside. Staff is really... good, food is a hit or miss on taste (personally), cocktails have always been good and it has a nice atmosphere. I haverecommended it and I likely will again Read more
