Good shredded chicken and pork tacos, beans really good too - still had chunks of pinto beans in them. Rice ok, just a little... blend. Chips and salsa good, not free though like most Mexican restaurants. Read more

Food is good, but the cost can sneak up on you if you add a bunch of stuff. No free chips and salsa, and their excellent salsa... bar is gone, but still some of the best shredded chicken around. Tip: Yes, they serve beer and margs! Read more

Food is always so good here! The shredded beef is the best! They also have 32 oz margaritas that are resealable!!!

I was also sad about the removal of the salsa bar, but I know this was due to COVID and therefore I'm not docking a point. The... tacos here are still as tasty as when the place opened. Great spot for Mexican on 38. Read more

To preface this review, I have always been a fan of this Salsa Verde however they seemed to have hit a slump a few times this... past year or so which was disappointing. I chalked it up to a different cook or cheaper ingredients but sadly gave up going backfor a while because the food wasn't that good anymore. I am however happy to report that they are back in the game! Decided togive them another try, and glad I did. They are back to serving fresh, flavorful food. Their guac is delicious and freshly made.Their specialty tacos super tasty, and even their refried beans are better than most. Obviously they fixed whatever the problemwas, just hope they maintain it!! Read more

I was craving Mexican style carne asada tacos and these hit the spot! I was not expecting them to be that good from a quick... drive thru spot. Not greasy. Honestly perfect. Read more

When this place first open it was really good. The last couple years I can't figure out why I try to go back there. My son... wanted tacos from there because he actually likes them. He opens the container and this is what they look like. I mean there isa point of being busy and stuff happens, but this is just lazy. Here is an idea use tin foil to wrap them up so they dont end uplike this. Or you could act like you care about the food your serving. You have no pride in your job when you do this. Read more

Enjoyed our lunch. Staff were attentive and very nice. Pretty small inside, but a comfortable patio. A la carte menu, everything... has a cost. Chips and salsa $2. I gotta say though they have an excellent namesake, their salsa Verde is phenomenal. Carne asadawas pretty good, burrito was constructed and cooked well. Orchata was refreshing. I'll definitely be back. Read more
