I've been here twice now. The first time I wasn't too impressed by their food (which took a very long time to come out,,) I did... however enjoy the ambiance with all the decorative chandeliers. We took my mother in law here recently for her birthday and thefirst thing I noticed was the beautiful chandeliers were replaced by less appealing ones. My food portion was ridiculous. TheVERY small chicken wing they gave me was nothin but skin and bone For $280 Bill, you'd think you'd get a decent meal. Also thebread they served tasted like an ash try. As much as I wanted to like this place I won't be coming back. It seems to havepotential but cutting corners isn't helping. I would have loved to have given a good review but I am honest with myself. We only ordered appetizers to share for a 15 ish people, but everything we ordered was burnt or had a lot of charcoal. Even the... bread was burnt. How do you mess up bread. The hostess was not friendly, and the workers kept giving us dirty looks while weate. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. We asked to add an extra chair to the table for a child but they wouldn't letus, even with room at the table and plenty of chairs available. The food was overpriced, especially for appetizers only. First time dining at the restaurant. The husband and I enjoyed it. The staff was great. Our waiter Flavio was " the best".... The brussel sprout appetizer was delicious but just a touch to much on the sweet side. The hubby said the gumbo was flavorfuland he really enjoyed the cornbread. I had the blackened Grouper. It was a sweet and savory dish. Never would've added avocadoto the mashed potatoes but it was delicious. Beignet's were good too. Overall a good meal. We will come again. Oh yeah, therestaurant is in a old house. I would love to take a tour of it next time. Read more
The Patten House is a wonderful place to enjoy a lunch or dinner in a vintage house with excellent food. The remodel of this... historic home by the owner is amazing. When you dine at the Patten house you feel at home and then when the food arrives and youtake your first bite you will not be disappointed. Read more
We always celebrated special occasions here at the Patton House. Today we celebrated Mom's birthday, Mother's Day and Dad and... Mom's wedding anniversary. Sad to be here without Dad. Patton House is an excellent place to celebrate all occasions! Incrediblefood and great service. Read more
Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I can tell this is by far one of the best restaurants I have visited in Geneva, IL. I don?t have enough... words to describe how delicious was my pecan and andouille stuffed chicken...let?s star that I am not a big fan of chickenbreast, however when I find and unusual stuffed chicken, I go for it. Marvelous exquisite... in the world of stuffed chickens... THIS IS THE BEST!! Cooked to perfection !!!! My husband ordered the shrimp, chicken and andouille Jambalaya, another gem...he was very pleased with his entrees (I didn?t try because it was spice and I didn?t want to screw my palate) Don?t hesitate tovisit this wonderful restaurant. Very nice place to celebrate a special occasion or just casual dinner and drinks. My wife and I have visited on multiple... occasions and the best thing I can say is consistency. Always very good service, great food, great atmosphere. Last night mywife had the salmon (Loved It) and I had a Filet Mignon (Excellent). We had a great bottle of wine and a nice slice ofcheesecake for dessert. They have a beautiful outdoor patio or nice indoor dinning. We also like that we can have aconversation without the noise. This is our favorite spot for a higher end dinner in Geneva. Read more
