Mediocre menu options and very bland food. Definitely not worth the price. It is disappointing as this location is beautiful and... you have the option to come here by boat. Read more

3 couples Recently went to the Christmas Luncheon. Decorations were minimal, piano music was nice. Food coming out was slow,... service was attentive although they were out of a lot of beers on menu. 2 ordered: chicken sandwich and lamb burger with soup, both served with chips. Both enjoyed sandwiches. Soup came out with meal, cold ???? The 4 remaining ordered the beef tenderloinsliders. 3 came out 5 minutes after the sandwiches were served, the fourth slider plate came out 8 minutes later. Sliders wereok, but with 1 slice of shaved beef on the roll, it definitely was not worth the $24. Banana Foster dessert was excellent andcame out in a timely fashion. Now the bill? we divided the bill between three couples, 2 paying 20% tip, the third couple didnot order dessert or drinks so other couples picked up tip. They paid $92 each, we paid $72. Bills came out with no card numbersor food costs listed, waitress said it was cut off. Flash forward to checking my bank statement? I signed one of the othercouples bill so I was charged the $92. My bad for not requesting new bill with food, and services written on it! I trusted thewaitress when she told us what each was. Auugghh. Very uncomfortable to go back to other couples to figure out what to do! Willnot return, should have read other bad food reviews before we went . Read more

My dinner was fine. The piano music was great! Our meal came out too soon- would have enjoyed spreading it out a bit. Spending... lots of money- let me enjoy it. The steak special was nothing special - the price $65 for a NY Strip was over the top! And theactual steak was tough and chewy. Very disappointing! Veggies were good though. We skipped breakfast. ???? Read more

I was debating between 3 and 4 stars, so this is more like 3 and a half. We did a wine pairing with dinner that was pretty... average, they gave us pretty mainstream wines, nothing interesting. They were not serving the ribeye that my husband wanted. Wehad filet, which was cooked perfectly, so that definitely saved this dinner. We also got the baked Alaska flamed table side. They couldn?t get the branch to light, and by the time they (sort of) lit it, for two seconds, everything was melted and it justwasn?t very good. It was extremely buggy, I got bit by mosquitoes all night and couldn?t really enjoy my dinner. They had apianist outside playing the whole time, which was very nice. Read more

My husband and I went to dinner here for my birthday on Saturday night. From the very moment we arrived we had issues. First,... we had trouble finding the correct door or anyone to assist us in finding our table. Once we were seated in a lovely outdoorarea and we placed our orders the bread was brought to our table. The waitress gave me my husband both bread options but didn?thave both for me. She said she would come back with the other but never did. Later on, my husband finished his bread and wasnever asked if he?d like more. He had the shrimp appetizer. It was tasty but a small portion. Speaking of small portions, Iordered the scallops entree and there was only 3 scallops. I?ve never, ever ordered scallops and got less than 5. Especially at$47, I think the portion should have been larger. They were served with basmati rice which was fine but nothing special. Myhubby had the filet Mignon. It was cooked to the correct temperature but he said it was tough and under seasoned. We had theBaked Alaska for dessert. The young man who prepared at the table did an okay job but had some troubles. It was tasty. We livein NYC and have been to many exceptional restaurants and this one would never reach that rank. It?s the little things thatmatter. Clear the tables, ask if you need more bread, maybe offer a drink or dessert to acknowledge a special occasion, introduce yourself after your patrons are seated. Let?s get what we paid so much for. Read more

Spent a fabulous weekend on Geneva on the Lake for my mother?s 80th birthday. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and... both meals were great and the atmosphere was lovely. There is a covered patio so we were outside, socially distanced and thetables were spaced out so it felt very intimate. Reservations are required. At dinner there was a keyboard player, and you havelovely views of the lake and the beautiful grounds. The menu has only 5-6 entree?s and our party of 10 tried several: thevegetarian ravioli and scallops dishes were delicious and presented lovely, the steaks that were med and med well came outperfect but the one that was supposed to be med rare was cooked past medium but the restaurant took half off because it was overcooked. By brother in law still ate it and enjoyed it?these things happen and the customer service regarding the issue wasefficient and more than fair. Breakfast was excellent?eggs Benedict, mimosas and fruit. We will definitely be back anddefinitely eat at Lancellotti?s again. Read more

We arrived 15 minutes early for our dinner. They weren?t ready for us - so I suggested we would go to the bar for a cocktail. ... The waitress directed us to the bar- - but we when we got to the bar no one was there. We waited 20 minutes and no one cameto offer us a cocktail. We went back to the restaurant and sat down. Pre dinner cocktails were good. The appetizers areere good. My companions ordered sea bass and the lamb chops. They were good. I ordered the filet mignon. It was tough andover cooked. I didn?t eat it and the server did not inquire as to why. The atmosphere was lovely. The live piano music waslovely. The dessert was delicious. Read more
