Uncle Joe's is a combination sit down restaurant and pizza takeout joint. You enter on the pizzeria side (which appeared quite... busy judging by the activity in the kitchen) and wait to be seated on the restaurant side. That was our only complaint, and aminor one at that. We waited what seemed like a long time to be seated, even though were open tables and booths. Other thanthat, everything was great. The food was delicious and our server was terrific. Food was okay . Expected the pizza to be better . The toppings are canned toppings .
We destroyed our pizza! Pepperoni and fresh mushrooms (crazy people can choose canned). The ???? s were hot and crispy. Buffalo... sauce choices were hot or mild. We got mild. Unfortunately it was kind of oily and flavorless like maybe it wasn't butter? I hadto tell my husband to stop swirling it around and tasting it. The flavor wasn't going to change. My girlfriend has wanted to come here for quite some time so I decided to try it out. It was a nice change from the same pizza... we usually have. This was a unique experience for us that started with complimentary Italian bread, which was delicious! Thebutter was cold and so I ended using the spread, even though I know it would have tasted better with real butter. We got a sideof sauce to enjoy the crust after eating the main part of the pizza. While we enjoyed the pizza, there is one request...moretoppings! The pizza we got was sparse on pepperoni and sausage (see photo). The third photo is the one we saw in someone else'sreview and made us want to order that exact pizza. Ours had much less toppings. I'm hoping next time to get one closer to thatpizza. The food here is amazing!! I ordered the BBQ chicken finger sub and it was delicious. If you?re in the area or just feeling... touristy, this is a place you have to go to. The staff was really nice and the food really didn?t take that long to come out ofthe kitchen. This is the biggest sub I have ever had for $10.95, it?s huge! Read more
Fresh ingredients. The greens and beans was yummy. We also had a small pizza and eggplant parmesan sub. Sub was good. I was... expecting a NY style pizza, but it wasn't. Way too thick almost a Chicago style feel but not as thick. Everything is homemadethe menu has many options. Did not have wings, many other patrons did they looked good. Yum! The lasagna was delicious! Uncle Joe?s Pizzeria is a cozy Italian Restaurant. The staff is friendly and the restaurant has... lovely decor. I look forward to eating there again! Read more
