Customer service 101 - MY family and I arrived for dinner and were given the choice of two patio seats, both in the hot sun on... an 85 degree day. I have 2 young children and we?d just spent the day in the sun on the beach. We sat down and a seat in theshade opened up 90 seconds later. I asked the waitress if we could move to the shaded seat and she said no. There were no othercustomers waiting and no reservations, so I didn?t understand why. She offered to send a manager to explain and a gentleman cameand told me if I ask to change seats, everyone will begin to ask so it?s their policy that customers stay where they?re seated.Furthermore, they?d have to go through the trouble of changing our seat in their computer. What a silly policy, and how verylazy! If we decided to leave and come back one minute later, we?d have the choice of that shaded seat! I?ve never been rejectedwhen asked to change a seat at any restaurant prior to this. Very poor customer service. We left. Read more
My husband & I came here for dinner Thursday evening for our anniversary. There was a short wait at the door due to staff... shortage/call offs.This didn?t change the experience at all. From the moment we were greeted by the young gentleman that waitedon us ,everything was perfect . The staff were busting their butts to genuinely give everyone a good experience. Our food wasabsolutely delicious and we loved the concept of cooking the steaks. Our server was on top of everything ,and very friendly.Theview at sunset was the cherry on top. Read more
Very pleasantly surprised. Hot stone steak was pretty awesome even though I had the pineapple chicken. Also the giant pretzel... and lobster corn dog were great too. Read more
Stopped in for a few drinks. We had the GOTL Lager and the Pale Ale. Both were delicious! There is a really nice patio that... looks over the water and the back dining room has giant windows to look out as well. We did not eat there, but the food smelledamazing!!! They bring the meat out to you on volcanic rock so you can cook it to your liking! Read more
This place was packed when we went back in June. Obviously prime time. So service was a little lacking but regardless. Food was... excellent. This was our second time here and I am not at all disappointed. Will definitely be back! Loved the lava stone steakexperience. Read more
Strip steak cooking on a lava rock right before your eyes. The dipping sauces are an excellent addition. Really good pale ale.... Brussels and redskin potatoes. Great view of the lake. I'll be back... Read more
There were no paper menus, which was odd, but you could scan a QR code to get one. Outside view and service was good. There... were signs up explaining that they are short staffed (like everywhere else in the US). Make sure to ask for straws and napkins,if you need them. It was very windy by the lake. Food was decent. We ordered the Fried Mozzarella (mozzarella triangles), thepretzel (with beer cheese sauce) and the shrimp appetizer. My favorite thing to eat was the cheese sauce and mozzarella(separately). Read more
We had a wonderful dinner here! The hostess was great getting us seated on the patio even when it was busy. Our server, Nicki,... was attentive, super personable, and prompt with drinks, refills, and getting our orders in. The food came out quickly and wasdelicious. Great view of the lake.
