My first winery experience, and it did NOT disappoint! The sweet flight was delicious, and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous!
Good selection of wines with a beautiful set of places inside and out to sit and enjoy.
The view is INSANE. Feels like you?re in Ancient Greece or Rome. Wines are spectacular as well. Highly recommend

We stopped here in late fall and got to take in some beautiful autumn colors surrounding the vineyard. The winery itself is so... unique! If you feel blasphemous drinking wine in an old church, just think of it as celebrating the Eucharist! I personallylove to try as much as I can when visiting somewhere new and South River Winery offers wine flights and delivered the variety Iwas looking for! You can also take a stroll through the vineyard and visit the distillery next door that also has many deliciousofferings! Fabulous winery located in an old church. The interior looks super cool and the people here are very friendly and helpful. We... were traveling with her dog and needed to be able to be outside. It was a cold and windy day and one of the employees came downto the picnic shelter and lit the fire for us. They were so accommodating. And the winds are pretty good too. Read more
Beautiful setting . A nice selection of wine and beer. They have a great selection of sweet ice wines for the people who love... the concord ?grape-y? taste and they have a selection of dry whites that will astound the most seasoned wine connoisseur. Evenif wine isn?t your forte they have a decent selection of bottled beer (albeit no lighter than 6%) for the bubbly lover orsomeone who just needs a break on a good wine tour. The rolling vineyards and the gothic church setting will satisfy any itch toscratch for a ?traditional? wine tasting and the cozy inside will help warm your heart to this classic winery, especially if youhave the luck of being here on a stormy summer day. Absolutely beautiful atmosphere. I?m here visiting from out of town and came by to check it out for the possibility of taking... some photos here and not only was the staff kind and accommodating my request, the atmosphere is soooo wonderful, the buildingand patio are gorgeous, and most importantly the wine was delicious! I got a tasting flight with a bread and cheese plate andhad the BEST afternoon! Absolutely will return in future trips to the area! Read more
