Out of towner here. Trying a new place that I can't get at home. The food was good. I got the broccoli bites and steak & cheese... pizza twist. I recommend ordering before you go for carryout. I waited 20 mins for 2 items. Not complaining, I know it was madefrom scratch. Read more

Walked in to place an order and the guy who was making the pizza didn?t have gloves on and when he walked out the double doors... to go sit with some friends or other co workers who was on break he wiped his hands on his apron. He sat down for about 5minutes when he got up he went right back into making pizza grabbed the dough and started making pizza no hands were washednothing I think gloves should be used when physically touching food. The service at Georgetown Pizza King is extremely slow! 8 my months ago I said 10-20 minutes over their... estimate on time and it now consistently averages 15-25 minutes over their estimate. Food is always good. Service is almostalways very slow! They normally run 10-20 minutes over the estimated pickup time and they never seem to be concerned about it. Read more
Pizza King used to be one of the best restaurants to go too in Georgetown. When they opened the service was the best in town... with the food to match. Through the expansion of their business it seems the Baynums have taken more of a hands off approach atthis location. A line of over 10 carry outs with only 5 sat tables. Counter girls were scrambling to get orders out, ours beingover 20 minutes past the time we were told it would be ready. This was mostly due to the two servers who literally would look atun-helped guests and not even say hello to them, walk past a ringing phone to goof off with the pizza guys instead of answeringit etc. Basically only helped guests that were tipping them I guess. It?s a shame the OG?S like Paige, Emily, and Jenna aren?tthere anymore, the place just isn?t the same especially the level of service. Read more
I dine frequently at Pizza King since I work close by. The food is consistently good and the service is quick. The staff is... friendly, however there does seem to be a rather high turn over. (I guess no different then any other business in today'seconomic. ) The interior is clean, kinda dark, but it appeals to me. It seems like a great place to have a beer. I highlyrecommend Pizza King for a casual dinner for the likes of chicken wings, pizza or subs. The only draw back is it is notwheelchair friendly, the parking is abundant and close but still requires a walk through the parking lot. Read more
Food took a half hour for two sandwiches , "boardwalk" fries were ice cold , cooked incorrectly and terrible . Sandwich was ok... at best. First time , and will not return. Maybe the pizza is better . Service was not good either. Pretty sure she forgot toring the order in. It was busy however with 5 other customers in the whole place . Read more
