Well today is a sad day in my world. I have officially been priced out of my favorite sub / grinder restaurant in the area.... Their grinders are absolutely delicious and have never let me down. The restaurant is always clean and the service is alwaysfriendly. The problem is that I just can not justify paying $17.95 for a whole sandwich. I was well north of $20 for my mealalone after I added my drink, a bag of chips, and tax. I can go to Cattleman?s Steakhouse and have a 10oz sirloin dinner and addthe salad bar for less money. I?m truly going to miss this place. I do still highly recommend trying it out if the price doesn?tbother you. The marinated chicken breast grinder and the steak and cheese grinder are to die for! the Macino's specialty PIZZA was great. And the Appitizer of Taco salad was my favorite. But you put your order is at the... register and the call your name out. It is a sit down resturant but seats are l;imited. They were also very busy. Take out orderwere a constant and they have parking for the call in orders. Read more
We ordered Baked Spaghetti and Meatballs and a calzone. The Meatball was cut up into thin slices and very salty. Maybe one... Meatball if you put all the 5 slices together . The food took very long to cook . Calzone was so so , not something we wouldhave again. We will try the sandwiches in the future .. Sauce was ok but not good or great... This place is AWESOME... It is a hole in the wall pizza shop in a strip center but it hits all the key marks to make it very... worthy of stopping by for a meal. The place is clean and tidy. The service was awesome - the day a was there the owner was inand stopped by my table to see how I liked the grinder. The food was delicious. I had the steak and cheese grinder which was oneof the best steak and cheese subs I have had. It was served with chips and a drink - the have ale 8 sodas in addition to theregular sodas. The owner of Mancino?s personally greeted us as soon as me and my family walked through the door. We then ordered and waited for... some amazing food. The cheese is very? I don?t know any other words to say but cheesy!! It?s the right kind of cheesy that isdelicious even when you heat it up the next day. ???? The meats used in the food were obviously from high quality producers.The steak used in the Tiger sandwich is not chewy at all so all you have to do is enjoy it! I would highly recommend this placeif you ever stop in Georgetown, KY. Heck, even if you live out in Lexington, you should definitely drive out to Georgetown togive Mancino?s Pizza & Grinders a try! My husband was able to get a small personal pizza that was just the way he wanted it. I got their grilled chicken salad and it... was really good. I would recommend that they add a small roll with the salad. It would make it more complete. Will visit themagain. Read more
