This is a house with a legend more than 100 years ago, on the first floor deck is the restaurant and bar…Upstairs is... accommodation, rooms booked online a few days in advance. There was no one at the front desk of the hotel, so I found theenvelope with the name in the mailbox, and the key with the room number in the envelope. Old building, but the room is clean andno smell, the window can see the water view and boat. It's just so close to the road that the noise made it hard for me tosleep. I couldn't open the lid of the coffee machine and didn't see the waiter. Just stay for one night and leave. Maybe otherrooms won't have the same confusion. Read more

Building is on the historical list. Rooms are comfortable, but not handicap accessible since there are no elevators and the... stairways are narrow and steep. The location over looking the Sassafras River and nightly sunsets is awesome. Restaurant isgood, with live entertainment on weekends. Read more

Yikes! What happened to the restaurant situation?! I wish I could attach a smell to this rating because holy pinesol... or... something just as gross. The prices? The selection? ???? 5 stars for our waitress! Get outta there before this place tanks! Read more

Just returned from a Weekend trip at the Kitty Knight and found the entire stay to be excellent! My Wife and I were part of a... group of eight friends who had gathered to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The Inn has so much history and the improvements whichhave been made recently inside and out are great. We stayed in room #1 which overlooks the River and it couldn't have beennicer. We had multiple meals on the deck and inside the dinning room. Our group was VERY impressed with the service andatmosphere. On Saturday Afternoon, we had Appetizer's and drinks outside on the deck as we were entertained by live music. Theweather was outstanding and it was great to enjoy the Boats and river. Our group had Dinner on the side deck at Deep Blue, andonce again found the food and service to be top notch. After dinner we moved inside to a smaller room off of the dinning roomwhere our group could relax and enjoy some drinks . Chris the GM, stopped by on several occasions to see if We needed anythingwith either with our meals or accommodations. Food & drinks were good. Service was great. Deck view was gorgeous. We were disappointed there was an annoying barking dog at... the table next to us half the time we were eating dinner. I’m a dog lover, but this dog was not well trained. The dog cameover to our table & sniffed my husband’s plate 3x! I thought for sure it was going to yank the steak right off his plate! theowner never apologized or anything. Dog didn’t seem to obey simple commands either. So rude. There was another dog across fromus, at another table, who didn’t make a sound. Maybe enforce a “no pet” policy at restaurants??? Just spent my birthday dinner with my family at Deep Blue Kitty Knight house. We were all quite disappointed. Everyone got a... variety of dishes from seafood to a brisket sandwich and everyone's consensus was the same, the food was not good at all verybland. We had dinner inside and then a couple drinks out on the deck listening to the band playing. The atmosphere is perfect.Beautiful view for sure. The bartenders outside were rude and the drinks weren't very good. My family are all very easy toplease, never have much to complain about but it was not the best experience. Read more

This inn is wonderful. Very clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We had room #1 with a deck overlooking the... marina. Beautiful. The dinner menu was limited but the fish was very good. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely beback!! Read more
