Hidden off to the side in a plaza, this place is an absolute gem of a find! Plenty of parking in the plaza, food was great,... atmosphere is cozy so don't let a few scuffs on the floor deter you. We ordered the baby back ribs and a pound of wings. Theribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious, the bbq sauce was just the right blend of sweet and smoky, with what tasted like a bit ofApplewood smoke. The wings were a good size - not so big that you didn't get a bite of the sauce each time, and not so smallthat you could polish it off in one bite. We ordered the apple butter sauce for the wings. I grew up eating homemade applebutter, so I was surprised to be blown away by the taste. This ain't your Mama's apple butter! It certainly has the sweet notesfrom the apple butter, but there was a nice acid to cut the sweetness too. Cozy spot, good ambience. Young server was very courteous and prompt. Cauliflower bites were good. Jalapeno poppers not so good... though. Overall, if you are looking for a warm spot, not buzzing, this fits the bill Read more

The most amazing local classic rock band I found by surprise!!! The service was so accommodating as my daughter had to go to the... bathroom while on a road trip so we popped in here and they were just great and looked after us!!! Couldn?t believe the amazingmusic!!! Read more
Busy night at home and decided to quickly check out the restaurant for take out. Service was impeccable Shelley was so pleasant... to deal with - friendly and so helpful. I mentioned I?d be walking over with my dog and when I arrived she was already waitingfor me - with food in hand making it such a quick transaction. Lovely smile and friendly face! Having visited Appalachian at their busiest, they handled an influx of people very well. I tried the wonton nachos and 2... pitchers of Molson Canadian, both were excellent. Highly recommend this small town establishment for anyone. Read more
Shelly the bartender and server is fabulous! Made us feel like we were walking into a pub in England. My husband had the fish... and chips and said that they were excellent. I had the daily special which was the butter chicken curry. It was also very good. Read more
Sometimes you come across an establishment that flat out shatters your expectations. If you dine out and like to explore there... is a kind of expectation when visiting a "Pub" to grab a quick lunch. It's "Pub food" right? Not here. I don't know who is intheir kitchen but this is NOT "Pub food". The baby back ribs and apple butter wings were amazing.
